Yeah it's about me. It sure as hell isn't about you and whatever your opinion is. People like you kill me! You somehow think that whatever you think, say or write is just and good and anyone else with a different opinion is stupid or evil.

Grow up! The fact I enjoy watching a high scoring game with a lot of beautiful pass plays more than a defensive game with a lot of short runs is just my opinion. You obviously have a different one and you are entitled to it. Just don't pretend that your opinion is not about you just as much as mine is about me.

Ugliest win I ever saw was the NCG in 2003. We dominated OU and held on by our fingernails to win.

To this day I still can't watch a rerun of that game. Just ugly!

I think we went more running based becasue:

1) Florida has the best secondary in the country
2) Mett got speared in the back early on and it looked like it hurt him a bit and then he got a bruised knee
3) Landry was rounding off routes becasue he was gimpy

So a QB that's got somewhat hurt + a star WR that was prob 70% + facing the best secondary in the country = run Jeremy Hill and win ugly

That's what we did. Put the game in the hands of our OL and heisman-type RB against Florida's smaller DL and LBs.

It was the right game plan for that game and it worked about as well as you could hope for aside from Mett getting injured.

Expect more of the same moving forward. Ole Miss, Alabama, and Texas A&M are very, very good offensively so Miles will need to win the 1st half shootout and then slow the game down in 2nd half and "secure victory." That's the way I see it and hopefully it works out this way. Wouldn't hurt my feelings but I will still be frustrated watching the action. I can live with that. How about you?

Umm , YEA Ill take some more of that, I can live with it all year

i don't understand all the vitriol. there was no miles bashing here. And I totally get what OP is saying.

we like Miles, and we know who he is. He is not other coaches. Spurrier didn't quit scoring on Arkansas. Saban didn't rein in his offense against Kentucky. Oregon never holds back their offense.

Miles does. He is simply not going to run up the score IF HE DOESN'T HAVE TO!

We can understand everything about the game plan, enjoy the win, but we can't help getting a little uncomfortable when teams are still in the game with 4 minutes to play, and we probably should've put the game out of reach a long time ago.

It's just a little scary seeing last year's offense re-emerge, even though we KNOW that it was circumstances, and also, we should've scored 10-14 points more at minimum EVEN with the game plan.

It is ugly when you keep the opposition in the game late when they should've been knocked out. That's what I think he was trying to say.

I was as frustrated as any other fan watching the conservative offense

UGA was the ugliest game this year and not for losing.
The up and down the field crap exposes 2 deep.
Rest what little experience there is on D.
