I'm not really too worried about it. Everything that's been built since Alleva has been here has been pretty top notch. I'm guessing this will be no different.

I think I just wish it weren't bright yellow.

I can't really think offhand of another way to make it stand our prominently in that location, but there has to be something.

Would black/deep purple not stand out well enough on that concrete? And I think it would look awesome in black if it were lit from below with those lights they have that light up the bottom of the uppers right now.

I wish they would tell us what they are doing with the North side of the stadium. They replaced that chain link fence on the concourse with a nice looking rod iron fence. They have numbers on each of the gates and now they are covering up the windows that they just replaced. Anyone know anything?

The North and West entrances are both being redone right now.

for example if the circle that says gate 6 was in wrought iron or something i think it would look better.

I sure hope they don't put Jordan Jefferson on those banners outside the north entrance gate.

They're probably just going to clean up the concrete exterior I'd imagine.

I like the "TIGER STADIUM" formal name on the West Side. It's not officially "Death Valley".

To respect that name, I came up with an idea to improve the NEZ scoreboard situation AND pay homage to "Welcome to DEATH VALLEY".

A big, bad Jumbotron like at Lincoln Financial Field in Philly, reminding opponents where they are while they are playing the game....plus combined with the new SEZ upper deck, it will further enhance the noise level and the valley-effect.

Sorry for the substandard graphics, but it's done with the basic Paint application in Win7. You get the idea. Comments?

I'm definitely in favor of doing something with the top of the north endzone....I wouldn't mind a wall/banner going all the way across it (similar to right field at Alex Box...Diamond Deck banner). Your idea of the massive video board would be cool too

That said, I doubt they do anything because I'm sure the long-term plan is to cap the NEZ with suites

I think it would be cool if they could somehow make a large walkway on top of the north end zone with huge columns, kinda like something from Soldier field, it could be used for standing room, etc, and then have huge scoreboard on top of it.

I'm going by other comments on the thread that the NEZ facade and the oak trees are hands off. If they do build suites the bite will have to come out of existing seating, and I doubt that will happen anytime soon.

Jumbotrons pay for themselves in just a few years, so it won't get in the way of suites in case the facade and trees are fair game.

Plus fixed advertising is a thing of the past. You can may more money with targeted advertising on the Jumbotron. During timeouts, the scoreboard disappears and the full width ad appears. Virtual scoreboard, virtual advertising, replays all on the same mediaboard.

Comes in handy at the Country Music Fest too.
