Are they taking down another crane today? Looked that way on TV when they showed the stadium from Alex Box.

Because LSU recently refinished the north side with a lovely coat of that gray paint. I'm under the impression they'll do something similar with the new south side.

If they don't, It will look Totally Frankenstein... The West already don't match either endzone.

Funny how large that LSU sign looks on the ground and how small it looks atop the video board.

Those 3 letters (LSU) look very small on the scoreboard, remember the names on the jersey one year not so long ago. I'm hoping they're adding 'Fightin' Tigers on the top!!

Not sure if this video of the topping off of the Southeast video board has been posted.

I'm talking about two different things.

People have said the scoreboards look different. I am saying that I think they will look the same.

People have worried about the color of the SEZ because the renderings is a lighter color than the north side, and I think that they will be different colors.

Here's what I think you'll see...the color and design of the new south endzone exterior will take the shape for renovating the exteriors of both the East and West sides in the next 10-15 years. The north will remain the same as it is "lower" and brings the color scheme in better with the PMAC.

And that would be fine, I'm just stating that they will look different.

Yes another crane has been taken down.

And if I'm correct they will be starting on the other video board Thursday , that's the reason that the one crane is still standing in that location.

Just a hunch.

I'll see if I can't come up with some facts about them. I'll post as soon as I know more.

And if the other video board goes up thurs like I'm thinking, I'll try to get a few pics if I can.

the issue that people should be worried about isn't that the two endzones will be two different colors (which would be perfectly fine considering you don't see them at the same time anyway), but that the upper part of the south endzone and the parts between the windows are are different color than the rest of the concrete structure...

Alleva on Tiger Stadium construction: working 24 hrs a day, lot of inside work now, I feel very confident they will be ready. #LSU

Alleva on Tiger Stadium: I don't know if we need more than 100K seats. Long term I could see reducing capacity to put in bigger seats.#LSU

i cant forsee them leaving the contrasting colors like that (even though its more pronounced in that picture due to rain).

I would not be opposed to this. Chairbacks throughout would be nice.

correct, the contrast isn't as apparent when it's all dry, but i thought i'd post it anyway so you get the idea...

i would assume the last touch would be to paint it uniformly and put some type of sealant on it like they did on the north side. that's just my guess though.

also i found this interesting.

Also since they have started on the tennis facility and it will be finished in 10 months LSU really needs to do something about gourrier. Two lanes over there is not enough.

Alleva: Land being cleared across from Alex Box Stadium is for new tennis facility. Expects to be completed by March 2015
