8-5 and finishing out of the final Top 25 is NOT "Damn Good Football." Well, maybe it is to you and your kind!

With a very young team in the SEC, it is.

There were a lot of veteran teams in the West last year. We did pretty good.

Our team will get better with age. You will see it this year.

Not entirely true.

But you're an idiot.

Ya it is a baseball season and also holiday.

but i think the 3 keys might be.

1)Defence should a the main key for them.

2)And if the players pass well then they can stay ahead in the game, So Serviceable play and understanding between players is required.

3)Just let it ripppppp..... and go for it.

We all have semi-valid opinions on where to lay the blame. Fine. But blaming alone is a loser's game, along with finger-pointing and "I told you so-ing". What is needed is a solution, a plan, a direction out of the trench of underachieving and diminished high expectations that has set in since 1/9. And make no mistake - it's real. IMO, resurgence 2015 falls under two related headings: leadership and attitude. Coaches and players alike. No excuses, just performance.

Defensively I think the key is more dominant d line play from both a pass rush and a demanding of double teams perspective. In games where the qb was a primary runner last year that hurt us. Msu for example stretched the box really thin and put alot of pressure on our lbs. A dominant presence at dt would alleviate that.

Offensively you can go several directions.
1. A dominant wr paired with an accurate qb would eliminate the need for much progression reads because of our dominant run game. We could dictate coverage by personnel and formation.
2. An accurate qb with the ability to cycle through a progression read would alleviate the need for a dominant wr again because we have a dominant run game.
3. An accurate qb that can cycle through a progression and execute spread run game reads - zone read, midline, and rpo's would give us the best offense in cfb because, again, you're pairing that with a mauling ol and one the best backs in cfb.

I'm curious why you think this? I think it's a very deep group, and if every position group had been recruited like OL we'd be much better.

Starters: Pocic, Vadal, Hawkins (All SEC potential), Clapp and Boutte have shown well
Backups: Brumfield, Malone, Domond, Dodd and Austin.

Looks excellent to me. Remember that, more than any other position group, OL must be able to play well as a unit. You can't just throw five good lineman out there. They need to practice together to get timing down. So how the backup unit looked is kind of meaningless.

That tends to happen when the NFL pillages all the would-be seniors

1) A return of our defense to when our players consistently delivered punishing hits. I mean slobbering-knocking, snot-slinging, de-cleating violent collisions on the D-Line, by the Linebackers and from the DB's! We need to get back to where people dread playing against out Defense again.

When would you say was the last time we had that?

How do you know our qbs wont get better?
Miles tenure has proved otherwise. Every qb LSU has had under Miles has gotten better with experience.
Flynn went from being an average qb to being one of our better offensive weapons in 2007.
JLee went from setting the record for most pick sixes in a year to having the best efficiency in the sec.
JJ's 2nd season (2010) was worse than his 2009 season but he had a pretty good 2011 season until we faced two top 5 defenses.
Mett went from having stats that are similar to Jennings' stats last year to having the 2nd best single season, at qb, in lsu history.

I don't expect national championships like you do.

Then again I bet you expect undefeated seasons and goose eggs every year as well.
