Three Keys to a Resurgence of Tiger Football in 2015......

Yea, yea, yea, I know it's baseball season, but so what! It's also a holiday and I gotta work, so I might as well say what I want to!
Anyway, to really get us back to the Penthouse this year, I see three keys that we've gotta have that have been missing for a couple of years.
1) A return of our defense to when our players consistently delivered punishing hits. I mean slobbering-knocking, snot-slinging, de-cleating violent collisions on the D-Line, by the Linebackers and from the DB's! We need to get back to where people dread playing against out Defense again.
2) A Herb Tyler-like performance from either Jennings or Harris. Or hell, I don't care if they put Pocic is under center, all we need is a guy that can through a 10 yard out to keep the defense honest!
3) LET THE BAND PLAY NECK! CONSISTANTLY!!!!

You're asking one of our QBs to play better than they are capable which isn't gonna happen this year.

My three keys:
1. Serviceable QB play
2. STOP the Run! This one we should be alright in with better D-line depth.
3. Keep the O-line healthy. I'm not sure if any of the backups are ready to fill in yet. The second side was embarrassed during the Spring game.

No question that we're still a "damn good football program" Brother! But as much as I love the tigers, we've slipped a little in the last couple of years. If nothing else, then because we went 8-5 last year.
We definitely need a resurgence from last season's performance.
However, I believe that we will re-establish ourselves this fall. And most folks are over-looking us 3 months before the first practice. I think it has the potential to be great for us!

8-5 and finishing out of the final Top 25 is NOT "Damn Good Football." Well, maybe it is to you and your kind! It's been a steady downhill descent since the one-nine-twelve debacle. The "Potential" is there, but that's ALL this program is right now. Nothing more. Too many QB questions and no OL depth (Who's fault is that?)
