I don't know if he had a drop this week. He looked solid and seemed to go after the ball more. Felt like he played less timid and I like his progress.

He's playing much, much better. Chark is still better though.

Chi was moved to the slot for a reason. He's still unable to use his 43" vertical to compete for balls on the outside. Until he proves that he can be that outside force, he won't be as high a draft pick on the next level. I'm glad this coaching staff can see where he's best able to help the team.

I think he has played better but I still see an issue
Maybe I am wrong but it seems as though he doesn't trust his hands. From what I recall he always uses his body to catch balls
Thoughts?

I think that it will start connecting for him later this year and then he'll be much improved next season. His attention has been had though. Night and day difference in playing/hustle.

It looked like his confidence was completely gone early in the season. Since the change, he seems to be coming around, especially the last two games. It looks like the staff has done a really good job getting him on track and putting him in position to succeed.

I think he knew that under the previous leadership, he was going to get his targets. You can get complacent when you know that no matter what you do or others do, you will still get "yours". With Coach O, you have to earn it based on your practice and play, not your NFL potential. I think they got his attention and it has paid off. He is too talented not to be a force out there.

I think he has to get more physical for next level. Tons of upside potential. I really like the kid.

I played the WR position and taught it as well. I had an in depth posting on his issues when he was dropping so many balls. His hand positioning has been terrible in the past. He's worked on it some, but still doesn't give a pocket for the ball to slide into to make the proper catch most of the time. He's a very gifted athlete, but still has a lot to work on to be that go to receiver.

The slot experience increases his value. He seems more content for the offense to throw the rock 30 times a game now too.

He did use his hands to catch on a slant route last game where the ball was thrown well behind him.

He's playing way better and is a solid #3 behind Chark and Dural.

Also Chark has that chemistry with Etling Because of them both being on 2nd team

Five targets, five catches against Ole Miss is what I read.

100% agree. What people always forget with players (and children) is that not only is it best for the team but it's best for them as well. It will make them improve.

Also, moving to the slot allows him a free release and is easier to get into his routes. He's not physical enough to play outside
