Dialing up play action passes on 1st and 10. I really think he's a huge asset for us. I know we're Next Year U, and it's kind of pathetic at this point, but next year I think we're gonna be back on top

With a capable QB to execute his calls we likely win

Great game plan and play calling; needed execution and someone to make a play.

Except for that goal line pass to Carter. Didnt use the tight ends.

Thought Darrell williams should have run the ball more.

Its amazing how specific player groups totally disappear from gane to game.

Would have liked to see more deep balls to WRs other than Chark, who can't adjust to the ball worth a shite.

Yeah I don't understand why we don't use them more. With all the jet sweeps we run tight ends over the middle seem like I perfect compliment when you fake a jet sweep.

The game plan is designed specifically to attack opponents relative weaknesses.

Ya, that's the theory, but at least keep them honest. Not using the tight ends is like abandoning the run. You don't completely abandon it, just do it and keep them honest.

We have some pretty good tight ends, no reason not to use them.

First half game plan/play calling was better than 2nd.

Threw more on 1st down in first half.

I don’t understand why we don’t throw jump balls toour6’5 and 6’6 wideouts in the red zone.

That should have been PI; he was face guarding and pushed the TE.

We were a good QB away from scoring a few more times and Etling actually played well. He just got rattled in the 2nd half and couldn't complete a few he should have.

Why run the sweep always to the short side of the field

It was a night and day difference from last year. Last year we could have played all day and never scored. This year we outgained them and were a few plays away from outscoring them. This is something to build on.

We are not far from being the LSU that teams feared. We always said you have to man up in the trenches, and we did! I believe in this staff !

So DJ should stop in his tracks instantly & actually run backwards several yards on the woefully under thrown balls as well as hit the jet boosters on the 1 overthrown pass. Got it.

He never found the ball in the end zone to even make a legitimate attempt at the catch.

Also, any coach and wr will say that when you get 2 hands on the ball you should catch it. Period.

Add in the bad decision making on punt returns and all you can say is Chark had a poor game.

Etling is average at times but below average a lot of times also.

The WR corp is in the same boat.

Too many lost opportunities to score. QB has to deliver the long ball on target and the receivers have to catch clutch passes AND you don't give Bama an opportunity to score off an interception. Having said that, LSU played heads up with Bama. Congrats to Darrel Williams. You da man.

Next game.
