This is true. But be aware. SEC QB's are rarely successful in their first road SEC start. Hopefully having #7 lined up behind him will make the difference and keep the pressure off Etling.

Etling being a transfer isn't your typical SEC QB making his first road start. Etling has played @Michigan State @Penn State, and @Notre Dame. While not SEC teams/stadiums, Auburn won't be Etling's first road game in a big time college football stadium.

The super secret playbook finally gets revealed after all these years?

Let's play a real opponent before we claim all is well.

2006 was the only team that got better as the season went along that I can think of.

You realize if lsu keeps building on what they've done the last 2 weeks it's checkmate for everyone?

This offense is not better than 2013.

Yes they have, and it's only been 3 games and they haven't played an SEC road game yet. Wait a few more weeks, then post this.

Some people will always look at the glass as half empty.

I personally have enjoyed seeing the team rally together after that pitiful performance @ wisky.

Pump the brakes. Our season comes down to Florida, Ole Miss, Bama, Arky, and A&M.

You mean the success of our season depends on the results of nearly half the schedule? What a novel idea. Please tell me more.

So you agree with me but then you say that I have to wait to post it?

When we beat Auburn on the road it's going to be that Auburn was garbage and we won't know anything until we beat Florida in the swamp.

All I'm saying is, YES, through 3 games they have improved. But you used the phrase "throughout the year." It obviously can't be throughout the year because we've only played 3 games. I agree with you that we've improved, but let's wait and see before we say they improved "thoughout the year." Relax, we good.

Our only options were sideways & up. I think LSU has done both since.
Perfect call!!! This 10000% we look better but still climbing out of the pit.

Come on, fella. We looked awful against Wisky, then looked good in the 2nd quarter against an FCS team, and held on to win by 3 points at home against a weak SEC team. Pump the brakes. Our season comes down to Florida, Ole Miss, Bama, Arky, and A&M.

Exactly. A good bit here are already in the bargaining stages of grief.

I'll continue pulling for W's, but I wouldn't call the 2nd half of Moo St progress. It's on a game by game basis with me. SEC chip or bust.

don't be a smart arse, surely you know what I meant. Our schedule (like last year) is back-loaded. We started 7-0 last year, only to shite the bed in November against the better teams.

This year, MSU is weak, Auburn is down, Missouri isn't good. Wins are good, but anything that happens before Florida simply isn't a legitimate indicator of how good we really are.

We won't be able to tell until the back half of our schedule.

You had to know that's what I meant.

and it will only get better.

Tigers will stomp the brakes off Auburn this weekend, and they'll still get no respect.
