I agree - even pass blocking improved from JSU to MSU and MSU is a better defense in every quantifiable way (although JSU is a fantastic FCS team) - and that's with all the injuries and shuffling.

We still have a lot of room for improvement, but the defense looks stingier (other than during the 14 point shock minute of scoring) on yards, overall, and remained stingy on points for 59 of 60 game minutes.

respect? For beating Auburn?

Auburn stinks this year. A&M handily beat them in Jordan Hare. A&M is getting some respect, but of course they beat UCLA too.

Our schedule is once again back-loaded, so let's wait a bit to see what we've really got.
