Would be a serious breach of security if they all showed up.

Dangerous IMO.

I bought a ticket to the regional down the left field line. it had some variant of the word "legislative" on it. Don't remember if it was abbreviated or not, but it surprised me to see they had special tickets.

When you see red shirts sitting in the gold seats, you will know how they got their tickets.

If you read the article, every legislator that they asked said they were giving the tickets to "constituents".

So LSU is going to sell them tickets so they can sell them/give them away to someone else.

Glad I'm a season ticket holder...

Timothy Messa, director of ticket operations in the LSU Athletic Department, said Tuesday each state lawmaker can buy two tickets for the games — $67. That is the same amount charged to the general public.

So face value is $67/ticket for the book of all games this weekend or is $67 for both tickets to all games?

That is for two. Bleacher seats are $10 a piece and I assume they are tacking on their extra fees

I hope they're all right along the first and third base lines. And I hope there are a LOT of fast fly balls and flying bats.

Thanks. Good to know.

Now I'll know how much someone is overcharging me for their tickets this weekend.

The article says ULL has to get about 600 tickets, and the legislators are getting almost 300.

It seems strange that we have to grease their wheels while they hold higher education funding hostage.

Did you pay more than face value? If so, you should shoot a message to Louisiana Voice, as a legislator broke the law.

People need something to complain about. We got the best time slot, against a beatable opponent, so natural the Rant found some trivial nonsense to cry about.
