His big mistake was groping the daughter of a big booster for UGA. Had he groped the normal trash that Hangs out in Tigerland, he'd be a legend.

Houston Nutt tried it and look at what happened. We do need some serious help at QB next year (maybe a good Juco or this kid) while we bring along on from the ground up.

Picking up a nice QB from a juco is nice and all but we can't do that every time we need a QB. Eventually we will have to be able to develop our own.

1. mett will cause no trouble at LSU. he is a good kid. mom works for uga athletic office for chrissake.
2. he is no cam newton. he aint gon beat nobody with his legs. classic drop back passer. think matt stafford with less arm. (but maybe more seriousness about winning). he had uga folks atwitter after the spring game.

I'm excited for LSU's chance to have a 4 star athlete at QB...but I don't like the fact that we are scooping up refuse from other schools. The fact that Miles is willing to let this kid play for this team degrades from the class of this team. IMHO
Auburn seems to be doing fine with so called refuse. Who are you to call anyone refuse?

I'd let the devil himself play if it was an improvement. There is nothing wrong with taking an occasional JUCO. I've seen instances that it worked quite well. I have also seen a couple of instances in which LSU's refuse "bloomed" at another school. Stan Humphries won then NLU a 1-AA title. The guy was not even in that great of shape at the time.
