This X 1,000 and that goes equally as well for a few hundred others here. Go to the Bama and SEC boards. Goodbye.

AD Coach System President in line but don't forget legislature and guv ! Our legislatures and guv meddle when AD and system pres want to make a change. Heck their guv and legislature call up to fire the coach, ours say we can't make a change because the cost would look bad. Big difference.

i don't agree

even if we could magically go undefeated (which i doubt), we'd have to win that first playoff game without a passing game and with a shaky D

Oklahoma was down by three scores to freakin' Tennessee earlier this year. I think we would have managed that just fine.

You're wasting your time. These guys are either so stubborn, stupid, or have such low self esteem, that the mere mention of the gumps send them into a frenzy. You can't say "hey, let's take a look at what this team is doing that makes them so dominate" without the retort of "bamasessed" or "Saban left, get over it." Not realizing this has nothing to do with the fact that Saban used to coach here; it has to do with learning from other teams that have cracked the code, and have a clear history of success with their process.

That's what successful people do; they learn from others who have achieved. The amount of vitriol thrown towards posters who mention this is astonishing, really.

Here is what most LSU fans dont get and i have posted it many times on this board.

Coach Miles meets all the stated goals of the AD and administration. That goal says nothing about National championships.

Coach Miles and Co. are the least of the issues with LSU football.

Put LSU in Clemson's conference, with their schedule, and we are playing tomorrow night too.

When Bama inevitably beats Clemson in similar fashion to beating us due to the talent gap, will this thread die?

NO BECAUSE THIS IS NOT frickING ABOUT BAMA OR SATAN, WHO WILL RETIRE IN A FEW WEEKS. READ THE GD ARTICLE, THIS IS ABOUT LSU REACHING ITS frickING POTENTIAL and competing for Championships. It only involves Bama because they are in our Division, conference and are the standard bearer, BUT if would read the article you would see it is not actually about Bama but simple commitment to winning. Clemson gets to NC game within a few years of making that commitment. We are not there because we are not making that commitment, pure and simple are have a goal as a 10 win season. Not an championship.

It is easy to simply want to do waht it easy to do, go for status quo, never challenge yourself or the establishment.

If we want to be Bama's bitch and secondary rival and win 9-10 games, objective reached. (AS we hear on hear weekly it is better than the most of the 80's and 90's. )

If we want to be a top five program and compete for (Not win) Championship on a yearly basis we are not just Miles away but far far away.

This is not a thread where LSU fans should be fighting.

Its not an anti Miles thread either.

Its a diagnosis for whats wrong with LSU Football and its the correct one.

Bama Bama Bama!

Yes.....they're in the national championship. But LSU is always a competitive team that is a game or two away themselves.

Where is Bama in every other sport? Nowhere!

I went to last year's baseball regional. Some yahoo yelling "Roll Tide". Some LSU fan said "shut up dude. This ain't football."

My point being.....we all love football but the attraction might be too obsessive as of late.

At 68mil a year in generated revenue, is it any wonder that we hear recruits state, "It was a business decision" with crazy uncle Less and a seemingly impotent Aleva leading the charge?

Next level shite, and we ain't got it.
