He left out "paying players".

Devoting a thread to the greatness of Bama isn't a look at innovative new methods. Get real.

They cheat better, pretty simple if you ask me.

Seems like LSU goes above and beyond to make sure players aren't eligible.

Da Truth. Sleeping Giant and all that. Look Bama will always go all in. The school president and staff all want the same thing, at LSU you don't have it and you won't always. At Bama you will always. They live, breath and die Alabammer fooseball dab nammit.

This

AT Alabama the University is merely an excuse to have a football team.

However, LSU can be as good or even better.

Miles is the least of LSU's Football issues at the moment. F King and Alleva have to go first.

I dated a girl that went to bama and she would go to alumni meetings, I asked her once what they talked about and she said football. They had someone come in from the university and talk to an alumni group about football .. !!!
I just laughed.

This thread needs a sticky because its topic is dead on.

TAF donators need to realize this.

did you read the article? that's exactly what it's about

clemson mimicked Bama, expanded that process, and is in the title game. the whole philosophy of both programs seems different than our's

and the best part is Dabo is basically the younger, sleeker version of Miles

Asking to sticky a thread about the perceived greatness of Bama on the rant should be a bannable offense, no matter the intent.

bama and clemson. it's obviously working

If the conversation is about AD's, then with Clemson's AD, Georgia Tech was in trouble with the NCAA under his watch, and with Bama's AD, how do we know that Battle is good with coaching hires? He's inherting a good situation right now.

why are you so intimidated by discussing superior programs and what LSU needs to improve upon to reach that level?

LSU fans are addicted to Alabama. Saban is LSU's daddy.

Lol...maybe we need to change conferences.Clemson beat Syracuse by 10, and hung on to beat south Carolina by a couple points. Their schedule is a joke. But you guys always seem to jump on the latest fad

Clemson beat LSU the last time we played and have improved from there. They are turning into a premier program under their current administration.

We're building a $2 million nutrition complex, just hired Aranda, we may have the most juniors come back for their senior season than ever in the past ten years, but this chicken little thread has the tone of our program being a disjointed dumpster fire. whatevs.

Some people can't get over it. Bama actually should bow down to LSU. If They don't win in 03, they never hire saban.

I think some people would say this was put on the back burner, so we aren't keeping up. That's the issue people have. Some live in delusion and think LSU has the best everything, but everyone around LSU is improving, it's not 2005 anymore.

Not sure you read the thread.

Fans are looking at what other programs are doing to be successful and want to see where LSU is lacking.

If the question is "should we try to be more like Bama," then my answer is and will always be a resolute "no thanks."

Believe it or not, SlowFlowPro, it is possible to have a discussion about LSU that doesn't require exalting Bama.

We aren't Alabama. Never have been, never will. Get over it.
