The fact that anyone thought Etling looked better than Harris is all you need to know about our fanbase

Harris was better statistically, in execution, physical ability and decision making

Wasted? We have had marquee receivers that performed at the college level and went in to great NFL careers very consistently

I saw BH complete a check down to LF without throwing the ball 90mph. Winning!!

I agree somewhat, but Harris still throws everything high, and is NEVER settled in the pocket.

Etling looked good in that regard. Stood in the pocket and made some throws. Has a calmness to him that I like.

Looking into the stats doesn't tell everything.

You are the most negative person I've ever seen. If a LSU QB went 25/25 for 500 yards you'd still find a way to shite on him.

Dee Anderson is the next Laquan Treadwell

I was impressed as well but it will take a year to get to his potential.
The bigger news is that we have not even seen Double D - Drake Davis! I made the Treadwell comparison on him last yr playing at IMG

No, but looking at the throws that were under, over, behind were pretty telling

1 - We have 2 QBs who can get it done. BH is looking much better and Etling won't be a drop off if an injury occurs. Etling reminds me of that Bama QB of a few years back who I hate (but he was good)

You're inferring this from a spring game? Seems like some faulty logic my friend

One threw zero interceptions and had 69% pass completion

One threw 2 interceptions and had 50% pass completion.

And you are hollering bout stats don't tell everything? How fricking retarded does that sound? You think we get style points cause one QB looked calm while creating 2 turn overs?

Give me the guy who is more efficient not the one who looks like Joe Cool while throwing interceptions.

The wr talent will force Les to pass more. Frank Herron will make plays in this system also, looked good. X Lewis looks like he can be a Brandon Taylor type player for us in the future. Little brother, Lanard can play also, didn't see that coming, Savion can ball, don't like Duke at that Mlb spot, need someone bigger I think.

That's not true at all. I just wasn't impressed with what I saw. Seemed kind of Ho hum same ol same ol. Maybe things get better for the offense. I think 2-3 losses would be reasonable this year.

Were you expecting them to throw the whole playbook out there for a spring game? Haha you say you aren't negative then in the same post say that losing 2-3 games would be reasonable...k

I was expecting what I've heard in all of the other scrimmages. Yesterday was a far cry from the eye popping stats we've been seeing from the QB's in the newspapers and online. Tell me I'm wrong.

In the scrimmage two weeks ago they ran a lot more plays and didn't give any series to the walk on QBs.

The size, athleticism and wingspan of the WRs is crazy

Savoin is a stud. Also can't wait to see what Aranda does with the DE/OLBs in his new scheme.

No clue from whom that quote was stolen, but it perfectly and succinctly nails what the longest of my drivels would have missed.

No one got hurt, and we were able to execute plays that we couldn't execute last year. More players looked "better than expected" instead of worse. I'm with you - just think I'll enjoy it. Who knows - may even enjoy it enough to get fired up about football next year, and have expectations of winning a bunch of games and such.
