1 - We have 2 QBs who can get it done. BH is looking much better and Etling won't be a drop off if an injury occurs. Etling reminds me of that Bama QB of a few years back who I hate (but he was good)
2 - Dee Anderson is the next Laquan Treadwell
3 - Little Buga is a good RB
4 - Savion is the next great one at DBU
5 - We are stacked at WR
6 - Godchaux may be our defense MVP

Dee was impressive, but was being guarded by a slower player. With Savion on him, would have had a different game.

Godchaux and Savion were truly standouts, and the nation doesn't realize how rediculous our WR's are, one starter wasn't even in the game.

I'm not as high on the QB position as you. I'm taking a wait and see approach, before I can crown these guys.

By not crowning them, you mean pulling against them...

The scheme has been the issue in the past...period. If we have plays that include 3 or more options the QBs will be fine.

All he said was they can "get it done." Nothing in the spring game suggested that they weren't both capable QBs.

BH was 68% passing for just under 10 ypc. He didn't throw an interception and he missed the mark twice in 16 throws.

If you don't see the progress (especially on short and intermediate passes), it doesn't matter how long you "wait and see."

I think Etling looked a touch better IMO.

We've had good WRs just about every year Miles has been here.
Until we see a QB actually get them the ball consistently in real games, I will continue to believe their talent will be wasted.

It wa spring scrimmage where the QBs wore green no contact jerseys and this were under zero real pressure.

I hope BH makes the leap this year but only a blind fool would not take the wait and see approach. Especially with Lea and Cam running the offense.

50% passing and two picks "looked better" than 69% passing and 0 picks?

Backup QB is always the best QB.

How can they when they hardly get the ball thrown to them with any regularity??Hopefully that will change this season, but I still saw signs of them wanting to run, run, run more.

While he did get pushed around a few times, I was very surprised with how quick Chidi's feet were. He will be a good one once he figures it all out.

And nothing suggested that they were capable QB's as well. I want to see them do well. I'm just a realist.

69% passing, 9.6 ypc. What the frick do you think "capable" means? For Christ sake Harris was nearly 70% vs the first team defense. A defense, mind you, that will be pretty damn good.

everything Harris throws is still high. Thaknfully we have tall WRs that can bail him out.
