damn right. if it weren't for miles' coaching, alabama would have made their field goals.

you don't try 50+ yard FGs when your kicker has a 35 yard leg. bad coaching on Sabans part.

I don't think out coach n each other is as important as the team executing the game plan... If miles sticks to the same game plan he has in the last 2 yrs, we in trouble!!!!!

If our coaches call better plays than theirs and we end up with more points than them, i feel we have a good chance of winning.

One dimensional running the ball isn't out-coaching. And miles has nothing to do with the defense.

Say what you want you suneshine pumpers. Ask any program in the country who they would rather have as a hc, Saban or Miles. I like Miles and hope somehow LSU is able to pull it off and yes Miles did outcoach Saban in TTown, but for fans to think the only way LSU can win is for Miles to outcoach Saban is giving the actual players too little credit. It will come down to who executes better.

Les has out coached Saban 2 years in a row now

Saban outcoached Saban in Nov. Four missed FGs?? Saban had zero fear of JJ moving the ball on a short field.

At some point you just punt the ball.

Miles had nada to do with those decisions.

Wrong. The head coach is always the one who makes the kick-go-punt decisions. No will ever be sure EXACTLY how much control Miles exerts on offensive playcalling in-game, but it is a proven fact over his whole LSU career that he makes the 4th down calls. He played the field position game far better than Saban last year, and put the Tigers in position to win. End of story.

As for 2010, LSU was not doing well up until halftime, but the entire staff ran rings around Bama's in the second. That entire half was a coaching arse whipping for sure.

Saban poor decisions late in game fielding an injured punt returner and the OT plan was horrible.

Exactly. In that game, field position pretty much decided it. Les won that battle.

2007 - Probably but I still think he left off the gas WAY too early after we got the big lead.

2008 - Solid game but a win in TS gives Saban the edge.

2009 - No

2010 - Yes

2011 - Game 1 yes. NC
