He is all the way at the bag holding the runner on. Unbelievable he got to where he did to make that play

I cannot believe how fast he got it out of his glove and delivered the throw, and similarly how fast Milazzo laid down the tag. It almost looks like it's at 1.25x speed.

Yeah I was telling my wife how the slow motion looks cool but it really didn’t show how frickin fast Morgan got down the line. Incredible play

He got it out so fast I thought he flipped it with the glove originally

LSU loses this game if both Tre isn’t at 1st and Milazzo isn’t behind the plate. Two guys who didn’t play in those spots most of the season.

I'd like to see some different camera angles of the play if they're out there.

Such a badass play. And great for him to make the key defensive play after being on the other end of their best defensive play the first game on Monday! So awesome!

Tre has always been our first baseman but did not play it at times this year because he was dealing with an injury. 1st base is his natural position.

That doesn’t make that statement inaccurate. Tre has played 1st 38% of games. If he’s still nicked and can’t play 1st LSU loses.

He’s definitely the teams defensive MVP at this CWS. I can’t remember which game/play it was when the team walked off the field after a big out and Tommy was telling Tre you’re the frickin man! He saved his teammates season with that one. Wouldn’t be in the finals if he didn’t make that play.

Tommy said in the postgame press conference last night that he didn’t see Tre charging the ball at first on that bunt and thought WF was going to score that run then Tre came out of nowhere

I just watched that second angle 20 times. Unbelievable how perfect he played that.

The way Tre anticipated that bunt and was on it immediately and then the perfect positioning and tag by Milazzo… almost divine. Here’s to the guy that lost his dad yesterday and said he felt he had something to do with that ending
