I think Daniels has a lot to offer. The rant hates mobile QBs but Daniels has elite wheels, which we have never had. He also has shown tons of grit, the whole team has. We had no business being in the FSU game and should have beat them. MSU we kept on grinding and wound up winning handily. In a year where creating a solid footing is more important than chasing a championship, I think he was a good choice and is capable of winning us games that we shouldn’t.

Having said all that, the OP is kinda lame. So Daniels is damaged goods? That’s a built in excuse, nothing more. He was granted the starting job on a team that won a championship 3 years ago. He came here to get out of that dumpster fire, not to spread it.

He is not a pocket passer and the fanbase needs to stop trying to jam that square peg into a round hole. Embrace what he is good at and hopefully the coaching staff can tailor the game to his abilities a little better moving forward.

BK needs to watch films of the great Herb Tyler...all five foot nine of him. HT was one of the most exciting, dynamic, players in LSU football history.

Hell, Joe wasn't Joe his FIRST year here either. He had very mediocre stats his first year here.
How does this gets DVd? It's an absolute fact lol. JDs stats after three games blow Joe's out the water in the same time frame. Hopefully Daniels continues to improve like Joe did throughout 2018

I just want to see continued improvement from him. So far so good. I am confident that just like Joe Burrow's 2018 campaign, he will be better at the end of the season. If he can learn to be more accurate and show anticipation, he could be deadly QB with our receivers.
