is the fan support. as evident by all the negatiger threads on the first page. the majority of you don't give AF about basketball. its football and baseball.

far and away the most pathetic bball fanbase in the conference.

Got it.
Team scores 19 points in a half: fans are to blame.

In the early 90s LSU basketball was a huge deal. If you win the fans will show up, I was at the LSU OU game last year, and it can be huge like that every year with consistent winning

We finally got out from under the sanctions that Brown put us under, then we self-imposed more by hiring one of his cronies.

That's ridiculous, fans show up when the team is worth watching. There isn't a sub par college basketball team that packs the house.

Yes! And if you are, the product magically becomes good! All it takes is faith on the part of the first page of the Rant.

There was a time in the 80's and early 90's that the Assembly Center was a madhouse and would sell out regularly. LSU used to regularly schedule big games in the Superdome against real powers like Georgetown , or they would play at UNO against the likes of Oklahoma when Waymon Tisdale (RIP) was playing at OU, etc.

Those were good teams that could play with anybody in he country and BEAT them. People used to show up for the games, look forward to them, etc. But since the NBA started is raid on high schoolers and up and coming freshmen and diluted the talent pool, most, including myself say, "why bother"?

That Georgetown game in the Superdome was raucous and a great win for LSU, thanks to C.J. and Ricky Blanton.

No decent coach will want to come coach here. LSU fans are the worst fans in the country. You see how they are with the football team. They leave at half, expect a NC every year, get butt hurt when LSU loses one game. Basketball is even worse. We had the number one recruit and the highest expectations in over a decade in basketball and they only sold out the PMAC once.

You people call yourselves fans but you aren't shite. Keep complaining about the program and expect everything while you give nothing

We have made the NCAA tournament twice in the last 10 years and 2 early bounce out NIT appearances, what is there to support?

I get excited every year about basketball only to go to start the season and have me questioning myself for going after a few games outside of the NCAA years.
