I noticed Bama players help up LSU players all the time. I guess when you're whooping someone's rear end, it's easier to help your beaten opponent.

There would have been a riot if we signed Manziel

We had already had our fair of issues at QB and if Miles had signed a 3* to QB, this place would have melted down.

Not to mention, no guarantee we utilize him like A&M, at LSU, he probably doesnt win a Heisman.

JM was suppose to be at LSU, it was his dream school. he knew most of the players. Miles botched up his recruitment among other things=-----------------------------------------------------

Texas was his dream school. Get your facts strait for your Miles bashing

this guy is a troll, Astonvilla (not you GrandDad).

Yes, JM wanted to be a Shorthorn. He even has a longhorn tatoo. S Tx is UT country. Mack Brown wanted him as a DB.

The stuff about Miles botching his recruitment, because he wasn't really on LSU's radar, is all BS. Don't bite please.

Very true. He's not a good one to taunt.

Man when you play a Heisman winner and/or consecutive candidate, that's special. Johnny F is legit. I've never seen a player like him. At least not nearly as accurate on the move as him either.

When you're on the field with a next level super star, you show respect.

...B/c if you get him mad,
he may just burn your arse!

JFF is actually a big LSU fan and wanted to come play here, at least that's what I heard Mike Detillier say on the radio Friday.

Both Mannings were HIGHLY recruited. They would have quit football before playing for LSU. Archie despises LSU.

It was stated that RED did want to go to LSU. He ONLY camped for Briles at Baylor. Baylor was his only QB offer. Briles asked him not to camp anywhere else when he took his commitment because he knew what he had.

Someone else already touched on what Manziel told Detellier in an interview last week.

That was my thinking. I don't think they did it on purpose but it had that effect. Guys like JM do best when feeding off of hate and anger from the opposition. LSU players gave him nothing but admiration.

enjoy your close knit internet community and all it's smugness. some of us are in the real world and don't know the "reps" of all of the posters and may i add, don't care to. if that makes us idiots then so be it.

Last night I noticed that after several plays an LSU player helped up an aggy player. Manziel was helped up more than once and a coupla times a short conversation ensued and ended with a mutual helmet tap by both Manziel and the LSU player.

I noticed it too and it pissed me off considering I didn't see our guys help our own QB up once a couple weeks ago.
