Last night I noticed that after several plays an LSU player helped up an aggy player. Manziel was helped up more than once and a coupla times a short conversation ensued and ended with a mutual helmet tap by both Manziel and the LSU player.

Maybe it was just we were kicking arse but it appeared that there was mutual respect out there. The aggy defensive player Claiburn, who is from La. and was not offered by LSU, was also helped up after a play. He played a hell of a game and maybe our players gave him credit for that.

While fans seem to hate each other it seems the athletes don't.

A lot of these guys know each other from high school, from summer camps, or from social media.

This started last season. JM and Sam Montgomery admired each other greatly after the game in College Station and that may have carried over to this season.

JM was suppose to be at LSU, it was his dream school. he knew most of the players. Miles botched up his recruitment among other things

Miles didn't want him because of his baggage. He had been arrested and had disciplinary issues in high school.

I could be off base but if you notice teams that jaw at JFF get their arse beat badly later in the game so he gets to do his own jawing... It's like a switch goes off..

If you respect him, he stays in a lower gear.

Or it could be we just played better defense than anyone else all year long against him...

I noticed it too. I really don't think Manziel is as big of a shithead as people think he is. I've actually noticed him give props to opponents in other games too.

I think he and LSU consider each other worthy adversaries. JFF even said in the post game presser that "LSU came out and punched us in the mouth."

Regardless, I am just so glad LSU never had to lose to JFF!

seriously, did you read this somewhere? i do not recall either being seriously mentioned during the recruiting process as possible LSU commits. in fact, your statement is one that i read just yesterday and it was the first time i ever saw it mentioned.

to me, it seems you are a gossip monger. spreading rumors with no basis in fact. do you have an agenda?

This is the real deal. Mack didn't think he would be a QB. Poor Mack

RG3 was a track guy/athlete and JFF wasn't heavily recruited by anybody.
