We should have it. That is like taking all of the banners off the rafters in Boston, removing all of the images of championships in the new Yankee Stadium.

It is not even close to being the same.

It's exactly the same.

The Intimidator will be back as soon as we win another one.

No. If there were a giant billboard inside the Boston arena instead of banners it would be the same. It isn't difficult. Flags and pennants would be the same and there is nothing wrong those. Giant, tacky, outdated billboards "celebrating" championships won anywhere from 9-18 years ago is a different story all together.

Some of you people are so fricking stupid. The billboard was to acknowledge past baseball accomplishments. At one time it displayed regional, and CWS appearances along with NC's. IT WAS THE frickING FANS THAT GAVE IT THE NAME "INTIMIDATOR". The "billboard" should be displayed at the new Box in some fashion. Before the "billboard", past accomplishments in baseball were displayed on the outfield wall. That "billboard" never intimidated opposing teams...LSU kicked arse before that thing ever went up. IT WAS A WAY TO ACKNOWLEDGE PAST ACCOMPLISHMENTS.....not something to make opposing teams shite in their uniforms...Good God!I guess some of you dumb fricks are too young to remember that.

I'm not too young to remember the dozens of white rectangular signs behind the outfield wall that acknowledged SEC championships, regional championships, etc. There got to be too many of them so they put the billboard up. Thats fine. It is now outdated and not needed no matter who named it, what it was called, or the reason it was put up to begin with. The NC flags under the American flag look great and the countless other championships and accomplishments should be commemorated elsewhere in the stadium.
