The grass may not always be greener, but Im officially off the Miles and wagon. He has shown us time and time again what he is, but for some reason we choose not to see it. This is what he is. A below average offense paired with a defense that is above average. That usually ends up with average results. Its over man. Miles has jumped the shark, and its time for him to go. Im tired of watching this. Im tired of mediocre results with exceptional expectations.

This is a necessary point to make on this miserable Monday.
The value of stability in a program is underrated by fans who want the world and want it now. Making a change from a proven winner is a dangerous proposition. In today's big money college football it is even more difficult. Why go to a pressure cooker of a program who will throw out a coach who has basically rolled off 10 win seasons like clockwork when you can make just about as much money somewhere else with less pressure? It's a problem Florida is going to run into with their coaching search. A bad hire sets a program back years and it's always a risk in a coaching change. You better have a lot of faith the guy you're bringing in will be an improvement.
Keeping a stable program has worked well for Georgia. Yes Richt has put some stinkers out on the field and had some down years mixed in. He still was a couple of plays from being the SEC team to crucify Notre Dame in 2012.
This of course isn't to say change isn't sometimes necessary. The game on Saturday was unacceptable from a big time program. Period. The negatigers are fully correct to put pressure on Miles for not putting his personnel in a better position to succeed. The defense is playing at a level where even an average offense could win a lot of games. We're looking at a low point in Miles' time at LSU. It's how he responds from here that is important. It's not going to kill the program to go another year with a guy who's earned our trust. If the staff can't correct the problems from this year and have a much more successful year next year, then it may well be time for a change.

Make a push for Jim Harbaugh. Don't look back. Headlines in todays paper has his name listed as a possible replacement at Florida.

Fans will be calling for Harbaugh/Briles/Gruden/Cowher to replace Miles and end up with Al Golden, Doc Holiday or Mike Riley.
