I would think they both declare this Sunday.

Some of you folks fail to realize that a lot of these guys HATE going to class.

So if you can make some cash doing what you love and feel you were born to do and you don’t have a test or a paper to do you bolt and don’t look back.

I'm wondering if one or both are working with the media folks to create a "thank you...goodbye" video. I think I recall D. White delaying his announcement as they were putting one of those together.

They can always go back. And Moss probably only has like 1 semester left.

A new Defense to learn has to be a negative for Chaisson.

It really felt/sounded like Chaisson was coming back. But with Aranda leaving im not sure he does.

Ummm....who LIKES going to class???

And lets not kid ourselves....college athletics is a business. the reason guys stay is for either:
1) the opportunity to try to win a championship (which they did)
2) improve their draft stock (making more money up front)
3) a college degree (usually dead last reason)

That said, I'd be surprised if either Moss or KC stayed for their senior season.

Not sure about Moss but I wonder if Chaisson was delaying to see whether Aranda was leaving and/or to see who LSU would hire to replace him.

I think Chaisson probably should go pro, Moss not as much.

I want BOTH of them back. But I think they both would be crazy not to declare. Their stock will never be higher and they won't have the potential to be injured before being drafted.

It would seem a little weird to do that for Moss and Chaisson but not guys like Delpit and Jefferson.

Moss probably wants his college degree, and his family is already wealthy.

Chaisson knows he might turn into a top 5 draft pick if he stays another year.

Since they haven't declared I expect them both to be back.

I would really like to see Chaisson on a 4-3 defense. He could really shine in my opinion. Moss too being Myles check down receiver and catching/blocking his way to a higher pick. Many times going to the NFL is a start the clock move by the player working towards the NEXT contract. In this case, both would be rewarded for staying another year.

Going to classes never bothered me. It was the constantly cramming for test that burned me out. I burnt out and didn't make it. The same can be said for many athletes. Getting a degree is not easy for the average IQ Joe.

While true, if this were the reason, don't you think they would have already declared?

Given their injury history both should go.

Chaisson I could see pro teams wanting more film since he’s in all essence a sophomore who’s only been playing the game 4-5 years if that, but he’s so talented that they know what they’re gonna get and how high his ceiling is.

That's an interesting point considering some of the DL have been posting on twitter a desire for a move to 4-3. That may have been pitched to Chaisson to get him to stay.

Well, it's definitely not a bad thing because there's still a chance that they're staying.
