I would agree in most cases but your argument on this one is just plain stupid and makes me want to
If I'm the Head Coach and I know what the play call is that was just called IN THE HUDDLE and everyone is walking out onto the field......... then I'm checking right NOW to make sure the personal for the play we had called is on the field and ready to run the play coming out of an F**King timeout!!!! That is all coaching. I'm an offensive coordinator and I have never had happen to me the crap that I see LSU constantly do week in and week out under Les Miles. It's embarrassing as a fan of LSU and as a coach.
It's nauseating to watch a bunch of 6 & 7 figure coaches not be able to execute something as simple as sideline management & the clock.

look at the film; the o line chopped blocked to create a throwing lane for a QUICK release by JL; the OBVIOUS slant that TT was going to run was taken away by the cb and TT had no where else to go (hence he ran around aimlessly )... bc the o line chopped block and lee didnt have the quick release to toliver (bc the route was taken away) the play was destroyed bc there was no more pocket and the dline had already gotten up after being chopped and had a B LINE on JL's chest... no one else to block him. even if TT had blocked his cb, JL wasnt going to make the first down bc of the other men chasing him. VERDICT: fricked up play calling by a fricked up offensive coordinator... wow, i dont even know what else to say. our offense sucks, cannot adapt, has no identity, is sickening to watch all the talent wasted. i hate my life.

Maybe it was Randle? The camera zoomed in on him while he was on the bench after the play was over. He looked pretty pissed off. Maybe he was upset with the play calling, or maybe he got his arse chewed?

Were we even eligible to call a time out? Can you call back to back timeouts in college without running a play?

It was a trick play. False fake confusion. Auburn was supposed to think Tolliver was hauling arse off the field. Cornerback didn't fall for it.
This I believe

That's why I have no idea why Toliver lined up a yard off the sideline. It's pretty easy to cover a receiver on the inside when there's the sideline right next to you.

EXACTLY! thats why it was so obvious to the CB that TT was going to run a slant- at that place he was standing, thats the ONLY FING route he could have run SO FING OBVIOUS !

Either peterson was suppose to run an in route or TT just F'ing quit on the play.

Add on top of that the fact that Lee has to back pedal from a direct snap from center with an empty backfield.
With all the shotgun we run, why in the world would we take this snap directly from center?
What possible advantage could that provide on 4th and 6?
The more I watch the replays of some of this shite, the more I realize how amazing it is that a man could reach the pinnacle of his profession with these kind of repetitive mistakes.
We have 2 QB's that both saw extensive action as freshmen that are now juniors with the same head coach and coordinator. We can't execute the most basic of offensive concepts, even after calling timeouts. Half the time after these timeouts, we require every fricking millisecond of the play clock, too.
And what do we have coming behind these 2 QB's?

i heard from a very good source that the play that was called didnt go with the formation, so all the players were confused and out of wack.

This.
Despite Crowton's f'd up play call, Lee and Peterson should have seen the middle of the field wide open and change to a TE slant. That being said, they would have had to actually been coached and given the latitiude to recognize things like this. So in the end, I say that this team is so poorly coached that it makes me feel really bad for these kids who come here to play.

LOL, just watched the debacle again. NO ONE knew what was going on.
Lee looks to the sideline Murphy comes up twice to ask lee whats going on Peterson has to go ask Lee whats going on. TT isnt sure where to lineup Sheppard isnt sure if he is suppose to be on the field and Reuben Randle is just frickin pissed he has to spend the rest of his college career being coached by a bunch of morons.
Throw in on top of it all Ensminger trying to signal JL to call a timeout(its funnier on video, check it out 7:24) and what you have is a completely inept offense...Yeah i know, no breakthrough discovery there.
Someone absolutely positively deserves to lose their job for the cluster frick this offense has been then last 2 years. This shite happens regularly. Even when we win games this shite happens, hence the unrest with the fanbase even though we were 7-0. Its not a mistake its a pattern, a systemic failure. This shite wouldnt fly at Southeastern I dont know why it should fly at LSU. If someone doesnt lose their job over the way this offense has looked over the past 2 years then i would never expect to see accountability from this adminstration/coaching staff and if you cant expect accountability you shouldnt expect championships.

Next,
Could not say it better. This is without a doubt the most frustrating year of LSU football I can remember. I expected ugly football two years ago...we had a lot of new players, Florida and Alabama were seriously rising, and we had a freshman who had never taken a snap in college running the offense. Last year was tough but this year is worse because we have not gotten any better. I'm getting sick of watching 5-star talent crap out a 110th ranked offensive output. And I'm getting sick of listening to our coaches' bullshite. The Hallman years in the 90s were easier to deal with because everyone knew we sucked. Now, everyone knows we are insanely talented, should be better, but we aren't.

I didn't hear from a very good source, but in this case, I'll go ahead and call me a very good source.
When the receivers begin changing their positions and going in motion, the routes typically change. Even when they line up on or off the line of scrimmage, their route may change. The defender's position can also change the route.
We're not on the same page with QB's and receivers that have been in the system for multiple seasons. The players and their play in game situations are only a reflection of what their coaches have communicated to them. I'm not even talking about what happens after the snap.

Fail....go look at the tape...RS tried to get onto the field and an assistant coach pulled him back initially...then same coach sent him in later...total confusion by assistant coach out of a timeout.
