You were one of the best hosts that I can remember. Your hospitality will be tough to beat! The cleanliness of the town along with the niceness of your residents ranks you as one of my all-time favorite places that I have visited! You have made me a fan for life and I definitely will return for other outings! If LES didn't screw up the win, it would have been the ultimate weekend!

I totally agree. Wisconsin folk were outstanding hosts. Everyone was polite and friendly wherever we went. Lambeau is an unbelievable place. Great weekend except for the Tigers play/coaching.

We had an awesome time. They were great hosts. A trip my 9 yr old son will remember for the rest of his life even though the Tigers lost. Anyone that hasn't been to Wrigley Field should put that on their bucket list. Chicago is a fun town and will be going back at some point.

I agree! This trip was so fun and their fans were so great, I wish there was a way to make them an every year rival. Very great host and would love to do a trip to Madison.

Agree completely, spoke with a large number of fans over the weekend and never met a single a-hole fan.

Even had a group of co eds welcome us in to play flip cup with them

Great time outside of the actual game.

It was amazing how clean that entire place was. Especially the stadium.

I would like to thank Kevin the owner of Burkel's for their hospitality. Town & stadium were great but the locals were amazing even in victory they did not gloat which made our stay very pleasant.

I wasn't surprised by how clean and nice it was. There is a fundamental difference between louisiana and wisconsin.

Glad to hear you guys had a good time. We had a blast as well. I put that weekend, the atmosphere, fan bases, and intensity up there with either of the Rose Bowl trips I've taken. Two awesome fan bases that seemed to be almost kindred spirits. Every LSU fan I met was super friendly. Never got tiger baited once, which I'm actually kind of disappointed about.

Anyone have any stories from the weekend? We hit the Badger pep rally at Titletown Brewery (saw some LSU fans there), got dinner at a Supper Club (LSU fans got the word about that place too), then the stadium area after that and all day Saturday. We just brought beer and booze and camped out by the Oneida gate pregame, near the stage with the live music, so didn't to experience too much of the set up tailgates. We did walk through where a bunch of the ridiculous RVs were parked Friday night, and that seemed like it would have been a great place Saturday morning.

A few pictures...

The Pep Rally...good picture of the brewery, bad picture of the crowd (which was all off to the right and behind me).

Friday night at Stadium View

Championship ring of Justin Vincent, who I was talking to for a while at Stadium View. Really nice guy.

By the Oneida gate, looking back toward the Holmgren Ave bars.

Pregame inside the tailgate tent. I walked in just in time for the 109 yard kick six by Houston.

Just prior to teams taking the field. LSU fan out in full force. Great seats aside from being in the sun all afternoon.

Back at the Stadium View after the game...people clearly didn't forget how to get there. The wheels were coming off early this evening.

We had a great time as well (except for the part between the opening kickoff and the final horn)... Wisconsin was beautiful country, and the people were very welcoming. Talked to many W fans throughout the day, and all seemed like very nice folks. Visited Chicago before and after as well - caught the Cubs game on Sunday. Would recommend this trip to others!

totally agree! trip of a lifetime and was treated very hospitably by all. Just wish I could have seen and done more in the area.

They aren't reading this. They have moved on to the next.
They are a small city making millions off of us. They've been there, done that.
Glad it was nice, they obviously know how to host a great event.

It was a lot of fun, beautiful place, nice weather, pretty ugly women, good area to tailgate and bar hop. Fun clean stadium. Happy people. Nice people, atmosphere was I guess like a small bowl game or a Ole Miss game. Nothing to cheer about for the most part for both teams. Obviously a really good game would have made it a good atmosphere. LSU fans were quiet the whole game..... Back to the nothing to cheer about thing. But all in all a fun trip that I def put in my top 5 probably of road trips behind some Bama trips and other neutral road sites and Seattle. Great time.

I'm reading it, and I was born and raised there.

I'm guessing I, and others, are interested to hear some stories from the weekend.

My buddy told me that Stadium View stocked 3,000 cases of beer...for Thursday. So they seemed to have a good sense for what was coming. When we stumbled out of there around 9 on Saturday, the coolers were still stocked.

Agreed. Great for a weekend trip during the warm months.

Anyone know who the group was that took up an entire front yard of the house on the east side of Ridge, just south of the stadium? We drove by their on our way to the liquor store right when we got into town on Friday, and they were set up big time. Had a huge smoker going. Gave them a honk both ways.

We get in the liquor store, and the lady says "finally, some Badger fans!". I see an LSU fan in there, and he's buying crown. Same lady behind teh counter comments on how she's never sold this much crown before.

We're still reading. Will be following the Tigers all year. Special place in my heart for LSU (old girlfriend from LSU).

By the way, we have Terry Bowden's Akron team next. Nobody in WI cares about Akron.

I think that's the only way to do it. I just use the Facebook URLs or upload to imgur.
