If we wouldn't have had a really good quarterback like Mett to throw accurate passes deep down field and open up the passing game, Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry would have gone much later in the draft. In fact, if JJ would have been at the helm last year Beckham would be looking for a double wide trailer to live in. These guys owe Mett a big thanks! And good luck to all you Tigers as you pursue a career in the NFL.

Some fans will deny how good Mett was and use his draft position as proof. The fact is it was a perfect storm...two of the best Tiger WRs paired with one of the best QBs led to a prolific offense. They can all also thank Cam.

Mett was pretty awesome. Was so nice to see the ball hitting the playmakers in stride.

Mett benefited more from Landry and OBJ than they benefited from him. He had two elite receivers that made his job way easier to find a open targets and create mismatches.
Jordan Jefferson didn't hurt Ruben Randle's draft stock.
WRONG!!!!! Cam should get 100% of the thanks because without Cam neither Landry, OBJ, or Mett would have been drafted where they were.

Why can't they all thank one another. I thinks it's fair to say that each one had as much to do with the other two's success.
Landry and Beckham kept each other from being doubled all the time. Mettenberger got them the ball in a position to do something. And they bailed him out on some poor throws and decisions.
