You sure about this? Manziel, no question, but not so sure about McCarron. LSU has receivers that can get behind folks...Mettenberger will have to learn to read/feel the blitzes that are forthcoming.

LSU going to kick all that arse. Can you give us a bit of why you have concluded this?

I too think LSU kicks that #ss. Why, Mett has repeatedly thrown precise passes in the last 3 games that no one in the NFL could stop and unlike previous years, not to just one receiver. Then LSU's got Hill and Magee who are outstanding at running and catching. I don't see how anyone stops this offense and Chavis knows he can take some risks now in games to improve this defense. Yes, LSU will dispose of Ala & TAM.

If we are going to keep winning we had better learn how to tackle & shore up the cb's! We might need to think about the barners this week end!

I think our defense at this time is right in line with Am and Bama's . I'm just glad we didn't have to play them Saturday. I'm not being negative but I don't feel our defense is any better at this time. I do believe it will be later in the season. Our schedule is a monster and it will take a lot of good fortune as always to make a run for the title. I'm very concerned with Georgia also which someone already pointed out. My biggest and probably most realistic hope this year is that the NCAA brings down the hammer on Bama!

I saw weaknesses in both those teams. LSU defense is way better than both those teams. Mettenberger going to have a field day like he did last night. TAMU/Bama both gave up over 40. LSU going to kick all that arse

Whatever makes you sleep better at night!

BAMA - I am not even sure how any fan can think a win on their home field is a foregone conclusion.

A&M - I know their Defense is pathetic but LSU has it's issues as well and especially with an offense like they run.

Ole Miss - It pains me to say this but Ole Miss is a dangerous team this year and no gimme win either.

UGA - They good and we play them there.

Bottom line is LSU can beat any, some, all, or none of these teams but with that schedule more than likely to lose at least 2 this year.

I think Texas A&M's defense was exposed Game 1 against Rice. It just sucks every game will come down to whoever scores 40+ first wins.

Bama's D is better than ours I disagree. They lack a consistent pass rush and their CBs are not as good as they have been in years past. They were unimpressive against VTech and were undressed yesterday in a winning effort. I am not writing Bama off, but to say their D is better than LSU's is just basing it off of the past and name only. The jury is still out for both teams.

i have to agree, i think their defense did not play well vs both VT or Aggies, I think this is the year of offense in the SEC...better have a plan, like running the ball and keeping it longer...

Um. No. At this point, given LB and secondary play, LSU's defense is terribly vulnerable, especially against a mobile QB like Manziel.

I want to know what evidence there is for people to assert that Bama's D is anywhere close to what they've been accustomed. They got drug up and and down the field by A&M. If VaTech had any semblance of an offense, they would've too.

I see no reason why we can't do the same to them. You guys talk about Bama like they're the boogie man. Quit being scared of Bama all the time, you guys are supposed to be fans. People give other teams the benefit of the doubt more than our own.

People are going to spend this entire season waiting for something bad to happen.

HOPE LSU ROCKS...I've never been impressed with the bend don't break def...And looks like the same play calling to me..Cam does have zack running the off better.. by far...I still see a lack of basic discipline...a normal trait of Miles Teams....But

All teams have weaknesses. Ours is our secondary. Jalen Collins will prove that. Georgia is weak on the line. Bama plays overconifident. TAMU uses the typical contain defense associated with a high powered offense.

Stay humble guys. We have got a lot of games to play.
