Flynn needs to go to a team that actually wants him. He plays like a veteran now. Why start a rookie?

I was so disappointed in Terry Bradshaw when I heard him say that today. He is just wrong, and he come off looking petty.

I think Seattle wanted him or they wouldn't have signed him. They are starting a rookie probably because they feel he gives them the best chance of winning from the qb position. Just because he is not named the starter you act like he is getting screwed. Get over it, not every LSU player in the NFL will be a starter.

Ok, how many ever expected Flynn to be an NFL starter. I can honestly say that I didn't. Think he's overachieved.

Pretty sure Terry Bradshaw has a different definition of rich than I do. I'm sure Flynn made more in a couple of years as a backup quarterback than most of us do in a lifetime.

I doubt this is true, (I know he said it) but to get into LSU then required nothing more than a HS diploma (but a diploma meant a little bit then), I don't believe a football star would not have been admitted if he wanted in. I don't think Bradshaw wanted to leave NW LA, he prefers to claim he was dumb then admitting he was afraid to go to LSU or another big time school.

Flynn was pretty mediocre during the NC year, aside from maybe the title game. He's not too far off.

Who cares? Really, what does it matter? - he is rich and does not have to prove anything to the talking heads or a fickle public. Enjoy the bank Matt .... life beyond football is sweet for the rich and healthy.

Other recent QB's with a natty to their name: Greg Mcelroy, Ken Dorsey, Chris Leak, Craig Krenzel, Matt Mauck, Josh Heupel, Tee Martin.
You can win a national championship in college and not translate to the NFL.
Flynn had some good games and some bad games at LSU. He was great in the BCS Championship, but I remember games like Arkansas where he was overthrowing everyone.
I never really thought he would pan out as an NFL qb, but am glad he has been given a shot (even though he isn't the starter for now).
