not just you. they're a big deal to most people who have to juggle things other than lsu baseball. and it doesnt even have to be a 2am game. any type of extended delay due to rain will cause attendance issues and just affect the whole weekend in general in regards to people's plans.

Not to mention it can effectively even the playing field if the Saturday game get interrupted by a weather delay and we lose Lange after an inning or two (see Florida).

Why is that an "issue"? As long as we get the games in, that's all that matters.

i guess we disagree there. i don't think that's all that matters at all. a lot of people want to attend the game and to me i'd say that matters.

certainly getting the game in is what matters most, but it's not all that matters (imo).

Stoney Brook
So the rain fell only on the LSU side?

We won the delayed game that was finished the next morning.

You don't think the weather played a part in us losing? It forced us to close that game out with Gausman and he struggled after the break. How is the weather not a factor in that?

The argument is that the weather does matter. It can help one team or hurt another. And talking about it isn't pointless. It's a forecast. It will change sure, but it's not like we are talking about next weekend. It's 3 days away.

I'll be there for all the games short of me being in the hospital or the funeral home.

This is a frickING REGIONAL SERIES!!

For the bandwagon fans who only go to games if the games are convenient for them, who cares? I sure don't.....

The actual reason it matters is that it can radically affect pitching. Let's say we're playing game 4 to decide the who comes out the winners bracket; Lange is dealing in the third; then weather forces a delay. Lange is burned. Our chances of winning that game take a big hit.
Now, it affects both teams, so it might work to our advantage. But when you're the one seed you don't want wild cards like weather delays.

i get that you don't have a lot going on outside your life other than lsu baseball but trust me posts like this don't make you some super fan. it's kinda embarassing to be honest.

and any true fan would want a full 10k there for the game to give the tigers the best homefield. so the weather this weekend should matter to you even if it doesnt personally affect you. :notatruefan:
