60% of the time, this is the forecast every time. Just get used to this around regionals in Baton Rouge.

cancelled doesnt matter, it's delayed or postponed that matters.

and technically we did have to postpone one until later in the season so if using the same parameters (since we cant actually make these games up weeks down the line) the answer would be 1.

Technically we could have played that game the next morning/day but it was a week day/school day so we didn't.

The answer is still 0.

hell technically we could have played it that NIGHT.

but you missed the real point. it's not cancellations that are the concern, it's delays/postponements.

We have four days to complete the regional games.

I'll bet you $1,000 we get all the games in. Deal?

I'm old now and don't feel like having to stay up until 1 or 2 am to watch. So postponements are a big deal to me

that would fall under cancellations. did i not just say that isnt the concern?

again, again the issue is delays/postponements.

not just you. they're a big deal to most people who have to juggle things other than lsu baseball. and it doesnt even have to be a 2am game. any type of extended delay due to rain will cause attendance issues and just affect the whole weekend in general in regards to people's plans.

Since every regional is pretty much concentrated in the southeast I bet rain will impact every single one of them. They will play them and it may be some long days and nights at the Box, but that also means a lot of time to kick back a few and enjoy.

Why is that an "issue"? As long as we get the games in, that's all that matters.

If games get cancelled and we have games determined by a coin flip, THEN that's an issue. But that's not going to happen.

My point is the Weather Chicken Littles starting threads fretting about the weather 4 days before the first games is silly.
