Me having 14 catches for only 190 yards this year is not my fault people...I only #dropped 4 balls all year...So who fault is it now?

So he dropped 4 of 18. That's only 22% of the passes thrown to him

I think Jason Pierre-Paul is a great example that you don't have to be successful in college to do great in the NFL if you have the athletic ability and the work ethic.

message boards are the worst place to find confidence for a player.

Dude looked like a pimp every time he touched the ball.

Why you have to hate on people that have hope?

Shepard, however, needs to prove he is a legit wide receiver. He has not done that yet, but could next year with a real QB.

Shep reminds me of McCluster IMO. He could definitely have been used more.

I don't blame him for being upset about playing time and touches. He made positive plays when given the opportunity

Who in the world is giving this guy so much grief? Hate seeing this considering how much he loved LSU.

Exactly. I love the kid. He's got great physical talent. He is and was a wonderful representative of LSU. It's not his fault the staff misused and underutilized him. He's justifiably infuriated that he only played three snaps in the NC. I pray he comes back, but our jacknut fans aren't helping by needlessly disparaging him.

JPP is also a physical freak with ideal measurements who had 16.5 Tackles for loss in his one year at USF.

Toliver had a bum shoulder at NFL workouts. that's what killed him. had he been healthy, he'd have been drafted.

RS needs to go run a 40 right now and see what he can get. If he can get a good enough time, going to the NFL won't be that bad of a call. But, if it isn't impressive, coming back to Mett might be his best option. He can work on speed and increase his 40 time to something that will make NFL scouts forget the lack of production due to poor QB play.

If Shep is reading this thread then I'd like to say something directly to him:

Dude, coming back for your senior season can only improve your draft status. It won't drop. At worst you will go in the same round next year as you would go this year.

I'm dissappointed in Shep. He's acting very immature.

lsu has had a problem at qb for a while. they have recruited qb's to correct the problem. hell r.s. was a part of this. The coaches did what they had to do to win. they made it to the n.c. game with their philosophy. can't fault them for that.

r.s. you got a shot next year with a quality qb. you dropped 4 passes out of 18 balls. That isn't something to brag about.

do what you have to do. you're acting like a baby. Either Man up, work hard, and be the player you want to be/think you are next year or leave.

Shep's issues are from a lack of utilization. You could see his skills as a WR improving. His carries have decreased each year. He needs to tote the rock. He avgs like 7 yards a carry.

Come on back Shep. You'll get the ball next year and get drafted.

Shep has 21,000 followers, I'm sure he is getting like 1,000 tweets saying all the same shite we are.

the fact that we had 2 crappy QBs that the coaching staff didn't trust hurt RS.

having a Mett next year and a couple of studs behind him can only be a positive for RS. i think it'll be a mistake if he leaves. he may not even get drafted.

TT had his best game in the cotton bowl. If that didn't get him drafted then I don't know how his junior yr would have helped him.
