This "if we only change the OC it'll work"

Get a better person who can run the offense and we are good

This "get a better person who can run the offense and we are good" buffoonery has to stop!! LSU's offense under Les has only become MORE predictable even with 5 different OCs. Hello. When are u gonna see this, Mr. Pumperstein.

6 OC's in 8 years. Maybe it's not the OC?

Scenario 1: Les calls the plays and nothing changes

Scenario 2: les has hired 3 OCs in a row that suck. And promoted Stud.

Either way I don't think we'll fix this.

Because unless Miles can coach the defense and special teams too, we have big issues there too. Did you see Miles with his play sheet at the goal line last week? Did you see how that went?

Because LSU, under Miles, is where OC's not unlike QB's come to die...

Every OC we have had has had to run the miles offense. Les will never let go his grip of the offense to let any coordinater call his offense.

Because LSU could hire the best OC that will ever live and Miles would still call some plays and force his offense into the game plan. No OC will take the job because Miles is on his way out and Miles will only hire someone that will agree to his philosophy anyways.

Because Miles is to stubborn to change his game plan. His lack of knowledge on when to call timeouts, telling Jordan Jefferson to spike the ball with 1 second left at ole miss. All thinks that are inexcusable for a man coaching in the SEC and making 4 million a year. Hell, some high schools would run his butt off for little things like that.

Not only that but Miles influence & intercepting play calls from the booth only adds to the offensive confusion. You want the reason for play calls getting in late & the delay of game penalties, this is your answer.

There's a reason Miles didn't want Cam on the sidelines. It gave him free reign to change calls when they came down from the booth without face to face confrontation.

Cam should have been on the sidelines calling the plays to curb all the confusion but Miles would never go for that. Cam should have also been there so that he could talk to his pupils in person & not through a headset. Instead, it was Miles who had the most face to face interactions with the QBs during the games. Could someone please tell me where Miles' accolades for QB development are & the impressive list of QBs he's helped develop in the past? The stubborn old coot was too blind to realize he was the biggest problem with the offense.

It's funny the OP has yet to respond in this thread. Maybe it's a flame troll on his part

op we realize you are very committed and serious - but can you not see the pattern with all the different OC's we have had?

The common denominator has been CLM- He keeps his hand on the playbook and controls the gameplan- I think LSU has been very patient allowing him to change OC's.

Bringing another one in would make no difference. It is just the way he coaches and it does not work at LSU any longer

It is always about the leader. If we have the right leader everything else falls into place.
