I'm not currently, but I guess if he's going to be the coach, I should be so. Can anyone tell me reasons to be excited about him coming onboard?

1. same level of recruiting, and a even bigger foot in the door in florida.

2. QB development, 4 first round QBs. The last QB he coached not taken in the 1st round was Marcus Randall

3. Offense: we may have one

4. Shirts that say Jimbeaux

QB developer, coached here previously, has coached under Saban, Miles and Bowden, has street cred with national title and playoff berth...young. If miles is gone, he is the best option not named Saban or Meyer.

All he's done is have an undefeated season with a Natl Title, a 26 game winning streak, a modern day record of 29 players drafted over a 3year span, 3 QBs tbat were drafted in the 1st round and 1 winning the Heisman and going #1overall, excellent recruiter and recruiting classes. At FSU, his offensive ranked 28.5 in the nation. During that same time span, ours averaged 67.2 in the nation. Fishers worst offense at FSU was 64th in the nation and that would en above average for us.

And he's a great fit here too. Obviously he knows how to have a passing attack, recruit and develop QBs and all that. But he still wants to run the football and have a dominant D. It's exactly what we need.

He is giving a great interview on XM 87 if anybody wants to listen.

You can replay the segment.

He's 1 of, how many, 5?? National Championship winning coaches currently in the NCAA.
He's "young."
He's a great recruiter who will bring obvious ties to our needed pipeline of Florida.
He's developed several QBs and is good at implementing offenses.
He's well liked.

He might not be the most "exciting" hire out there, but he probably is the best.

Thanks for the responses everyone. That's what I was looking for. Sorry to bother anyone who felt bothered by my query.

Happy Thanksgiving.
