It's like Peyton and Eli. He could win two SuperBowl MVPs and he will never be good enough.

No fire in the belly. And honestly why should he have that? Hey should I call the guys up and work on our timing...or go to my parents 85 foot sailboat with the smash piece for the weekend. Josh Rosen 2.0. All world arm but no burning desire.

Ahh...at least that's new to me.

So, no offseason workouts with the WR corp like last summer.

At least your giving a reason for his possible weaknesses.

He could do fine....but I think the bar has been raised and everyone knows what the result differences between just fine and really committed to success.

He might be the next great LSU QB, but I'd say the competition is open until someone takes command and owns it.

Every game when you saw JB on the side lines next to him, no communications with jb or the box and just seem disconnected.

Weight is the least of his issues if we’re gonna compete next year

He looks the same size as burrow

Haven’t seen enough and especially with changes we’ve made. I await the future.

He is not as accurate, he definitely doesn't have the running ability and he doesn't have that FU mentality, I am better than you.

Learning behind a Heisman QB is fine but Brennan will not be as good as Burrow. In fact, probably no QB will in the next 10-15 or more years. Heck, no one has been before 2019 ever, even Montana, Marino, 3 Mannings, Brees, Favre, Brady (who was mediocre in college).

It will be mental- does he have the mental toughness and personality to be the leader? We’ll have to wait and see. Regardless he will be a huge step back from Burrow, as anyone would be. The thing I don’t see from him is that brash confidence displayed by Burrow.

Short of Joe Burrow, that is. And, of course, until he becomes the actual starter.

I cant even remember the last QB we’ve had that was a backup for 3 years on OUR team to be the starter for the 4th&5th year.

Matt Flynn - played behind Jamarcus Russell for 3 years. In his senior season led LSU to a national championship during the 2007 season. Played very little until his senior season.

Russell was a number 1 pick and hell of a college qb.
If he’s half as good as Russell was this year and we in good shape.

I doubt he has the level of pocket presence and escapability as Burrow but who does?

Pocket awareness. He lacks that.

Rich kids always underachieve. Lacks commitment and what it takes to work hard - to push himself to the limit then go some more. His mindset does not match coach O, surely does not match JB.

This kid is done. Get the grad transfer, and tee up the next transfer in 2 years. this is the new way, get the older guys here and start the cycle. Burrow lives on forever.
