Myles will be first or second all-sec

For the fans doubting Brennan, where do you project him in the All SEC QB ranking.
I can't think of another QB in the SEC that I would rather have at LSU.

Russell was a number 1 pick and hell of a college qb.

JR never won a championship at any level. He was as big of a bust in the NFL as any player in history.
Yeah, probably as talented as any QB ever. He was no Joe Burrow. He wasn't as dedicated and I don't think he could have run this offense. It would have been interesting to see.

It's said his arm strength is even better than Joe even.

I think a lot of people underestimate Joe Burrow's arm strength. Nonetheless, what good is arm strength if you can't throw accurately and with touch?

Anyway, I remember watching a video of Jamar Chase last fall before the start of the season, when he was asked his opinion of Myles Brennan.

His reply was to the effect that he was pretty accurate on short and intermediate passes, but was always consistently off on long passes.

Hence, besides gelling and building chemistry with the receivers and running backs in the offseason, I hope Brennan focuses on his accuracy and throwing with touch, and especially when it comes to throwing the deep pass. As if he gets that deep pass down, then LSU could be very deadly this upcoming season.

In any event, with all of LSU's elite weapons on the field simultaneously at one time and with LSU's new offense, which no team has yet been able to slow down, I'm hoping Myles Brennan can be the best QB in the SEC next season and if he is, then I think LSU has a good shot to get back to the playoffs again.

I think Myles will throw for 3,000 yards and 30 TDs next season though.

We need Myles to throw for a little over 4000 yards and about 40 touchdown passes, and then we can make the rest up via the run game.

Liar. You heard it from the always negative Matt Mascona.

Joe Burrow in an interview said Myles had really improved in that particular area this season.

Because the rant doesn’t think he is good enough. Wait the rant is always wrong about personnel and coaches. He will win 2 heismans and be the #1 draft pick in that case.

The host of Hey Fightin Podcast said he can “spin it” better than any qb on the roster since he started covering the team.

Physically he has it all, the difference, as always, is between the ears. Hopefully he can get there too.

Well you are an absolute idiot. Please post less.

Did Russell a bust and flame out in the pros? Yes. One of the two biggest QB busts in NFL history.

However he was running Jimbo Fishers offense and was actually running it at a very high level. And Jimbos offense is very complex. He would have been able to run this offense in college.

When Jimbo has been asked about Russell he has said multiple times how they put a lot on Russels plate at the line of scrimmage with audibles and protection, so please get out of here with your ignorant assessments.

The biggest obstacle is replacing joe Brady

Brennan is physically talented enough & hiscweapons are excellent enough for him to roll out of bed & throw 30Tds

They just need the right play caller

You know, it’s a shame to read this and think about his potential, then think about him slacking off and having coaches figure out he wasn’t even watching film after they gave him a blank disc. Dude could’ve been a franchise qb with the right work ethic.

I do see your point about the D though. If we get back to a top 3 D....that will help Brennan our tremendously. We are still gonna score points...it’s just might take a little more time than the warp speed we would score at this year

Here are the facts: he was a highly rated quarterback coming out of high school, he was thrown into the fire too soon, he has a better arm than Burrow, and he knows the offense. Will he succeed? I do not know, and either does anyone else on this board. I hope he does well because he has been loyal to the program. Good luck to him.

I have all the confidence in Brennan. When’s the last time we had a guy who’s been in the program already for 3 years due to start? I see him having a better year than Burrows 2018.

I haven’t been to a single practice, so I have absolutely no idea about the outlook at quarterback for next year.

Brennan will be at least as good as Jones and Trask and the transfer UGA got.

No he will not have Burrow numbers. No one will.

Other programs will try to adopt LSUs. Offense Not really much different than Bama.. remember Kirby said they run the same plays.

Anyway someone will break Burrows number one day.

You can't expect Brennan to be like 2019 Burrow.

YPG: 378.1
YPA: 10.8
TDs: 60
INTs: 6
Rating: 201.96

You can hope that Brennan will exceed 2018 Burrow.

YPG: 222.6
YPA: 7.6
TDs: 16
INTs: 5
Rating: 133.21

2019 Burrow would not put up his 2019 numbers without his 2018 experience.
