Music is certainly allowed and only beer has to be put in a cup

i don't get the hate. i've been multiple times and it is one of the most unique experiences in cfb. lsu fans have a weird predilection for being far apart so they can blast vapid rap music at a ridiculously deafening level.

every time i've tailgated with ole miss people, they were hospitable and generous. and they knew i am an lsu fan. don't listen to these people. the grove is a very interesting and i would say exciting place. lsu gameday is more exciting but, ole miss is no slouch. they take tailgating more seriously than anybody else in the country other than lsu and you would think lsu fans would have an appreciation for that.

pretty much anywhere on the square is going to be good if you can get in. we were at oxford grille last time and i would like to go back there.

The grove itself is the most overrated tailgate scene there is outside of the women. Ole miss is lots of fun and the women are gorgeous, but be prepared to hide your beer in the grove. I'll never understand those rules but it made for a much better buzz

Two years ago the Grove was empty at 11:30 AM. People, who were not on the hired catering crews, didn't start showing up to tailgate until around 3 for the night game. However, do yourself a favor and walk to the "back" of the Grove and find the people with the goat at their tent. The goat is named Lainey, and the people were genuinely nice to us. Other than that, hope you enjoy backwards polo hats with bowties, and hair cuts that look like this...

This is an exaggeration It was plenty crowded much earlier than 3 last time LSU was up there.

Hate to add to the Grammar Police, but this should be "An LSU..." not "A LSU...".

Thank you. My 4th grade teacher would approve!!

Ok maybe a little exaggeration, but seriously we got there around 8 AM expecting it to be like LSU and it was close to 12:30-1 before the place got kicked up. We took pictures in all their empty tents!

They definitely don't do things like we do, that's for sure.
