Not an LSU vs Bama topic!
This will be our first trip to the Grove so we're looking for advice, suggestions and any do's and don't's for tailgating for the LSU vs Ole Piss game. Thanks in advance.

My best advice would be to not set your expectations too high. Probably the most over-hyped experience in the SEC. It's like tailgating at any other SEC school but crammed into one area with no music and a lot of un-warranted snobbery.

I've done it twice, but I had an Ole Miss hostess both times. I think it might be tough (impossible) for an outsider to find a spot in there.

What advice would you give on where to watch the game, bars to go to? Two of the people in the group don't have tix to the game.

The Grove is overrated. Tailgating is not in the same universe as LSU. People are snooty assholes. Do yourself a favor. Tailgate at Oby's restaurant then go straight to the game.
