I disagree. While not perfect, I thought he looked better than the previous 2 games.

Collins has looked bad and probably won't see PT outside of ST and mop up duty. Mills has been unimpressive as a lockdown corner since the TCU game. Idk if we have anyone to cover Cooper and Evans. This team would be so much better if we had a PP7 or Mo. Right now we don't have anyone that can just take away the other teams best receiver and not need help. Hopefully Mills steps up.

Only saw Tre White on a couple of plays, but his style resembles that of the great DBs that have been though here. His instincts and closing speed are right there.

Weve been spoiled the past few years with having DBs like Mo, PP, and TM. This is what happens when you dont have an elite guy out there. Teams make plays.

And Ill admit that I was a huge Jalen Collins supporter in the offseason and thought he would be primed to have a huge season for us. I was wrong. Tre White is legit. Young. But still legit. 1 day he could be 1 of those elite CBs weve had in the past.

T White made some very good plays last night. He sealed the edge quite nicely and quite aggressively.

In man to man coverage he displayed excellent technique and was in position with his head facing the ball the entire time. Its his spot now and I don't see him giving it up

White was the Valedictorian of his HS with a 4.3 GPA, add to the fact that he comes from the same gene pool as Morris Claiborne makes me even more excited to see him on the field more. Dude will be a stud before its all said and done

we don't and if we don't get to the M/M boys early and ofter we are going to get lit up. after watching our defense for three games I see no possible way for LSU to go undefeated...much less win the Western Division. the breakdowns and futulity displayed by our defense against average, at best, comp does not bode well for LSU as we move into the meat of the schedule. Chavis better get Beckwith up to speed cause, IMO, Welter is over matched and out of position. the kid looks more like a strong safety than an SEC mlb. we need multiple defensive players to step up their games and Chavis is going to have to become very creative in creating sustained pressure on some extremely talented offenses that lie down the road. JMO and I really don't care what anyone else thinks. take off your P&G glasses, open your eyes and smell the coffee.

get a lot better, get damn ready...get fricking even.

We would also go on probation. Pretty sure they don't have any eligibility left!

I know.

F....he is much slower than I initially thought plus his coverage wasn't on at all for the most part of last night.

We very well might see RR and White starting CBs soon...and everyone else fighting for the nickle...it appears that Chief is moving very deliberately as usual...they have to keep the long season in mind...let's face it, we can't really afford to lose anyone psychologically...ie...if you break any confidence that a guy might still have in himself, that's not good either...injuries will occur and we will need all hands before the season is over...we have some very physical games coming up...all LSU players are important to the long season...I'm glad that we have so much talent that we have options...there have been years when that was not so...stay positive and constructive...after all, we expect from the players...why not us!

False, Collins didn't look very good in limited time he was in. Dude got beat multiple times and they kept going at him! He's not gonna cut it in SEC play!
