I'll say true but honestly not a very confident answer. It's hard to win when your supposed strength at the time (the OL) gets smacked around.

False. Alabama wouldnt have been conservative. We still lose by 7-10 points.

Probably right. It would have been closer but likely not winnable.

For the millionth time, there is no game plan that will be successful when a defensive front four start every play 2 yards into your back field.

And the qb run plays went out the window when Harris got hurt

But we would have looked better as an offense

We would of had a better chance moving the chains vs running into a line of scrimmage that wasn't moving.

The point is, every OL in the country would get smacked around by that Bama DL if they tried to run LSUs offense. Bama has shown weakness when their defense is spread out. Maybe LSU should try that. Change the whole offensive scheme of need be Bc otherwise LSU will not win the west.

No way in hell was LSU winning that game yesterday. Not with that Oline play. LSU wasn't good enough to keep drives alive. The defense was on the field way too long.

It was MORE winnable.

We also ran the ball on first down 6 of the first 7 times. Offense was as vanilla as it could get.

It was a 3 point game at the half and we received the opening half kickoff. It would be foolish to think that the game was not winnable. It would have required us to really outcoach them though because the offensive line was getting abused.

Again, bama was getting pressure with their front 4 when we were in max protect and you want to take away protection for a qb that can't make short throws?

I promise our coaching staff knows what our qb can do and what he cant. You don't see a ton of short throws because he isn't accurate on short throws.

If you said false, go ask Ole Miss how they beat Bama 2 years in a row. And it's not by running the football to set up the pass. It's the other way around. Play calling is the key and that's what we lack.

You do realize that both of those things require at least halfway decent blocking against even a bad defense. Against Bama you would need great blocking.

False. Harris would have made more mistakes and it could have been worse.

I think more qb scrambles would have given us a better chance.

True. We would've forced Alabama to play less conservatively and perhaps moved them outside comfort zone.

False. The line got demolished all night long. No game plan can work with the o line getting consistently abused the entire game.

This wasn't gonna happen once Harris got hurt. His zone read keeper was getting yards.
