What? Miles has a top 6 win % in sec history and the #1 ooc win % in sec history. The best coach in cfb( saban ) with by far the most talent (4 of the last 5 recruiting classes were #1) LOSES EVERY YEAR.

LSU has finished in the top 15 8 of MILES' 10 seasons. He just gave lsu it's most successful 10 year stretch ever. You're a fricking dumbass.

I particularly like the part where he singles out Saban and Urban, but fails to mention other contemporaries making similar money like Sumlin, Strong, Stoops and Ferentz.

But Les gets overpaid for the most successful decade in program history...ok.

My bad , he missed, not a block.

Rest of my post is 100% fact.
Your constant defense of JJ is weird and telling of your obv personal relationship with the guy.

what's even weirder is you and a few others on here constant attacks of one of the winningest QB's in LSU history and the constant yearning affection you guys(?)(Caitlyns possibly) have for Lee. Very weird indeed.

LSU fans never ceases to amaze me. LSU fans defending the indefensible that took place on 1/9. There was no excuse for us showing up that night with the exact same gameplan that was barely successful the 1st time we beat them. There was no excuse to not have an alternate plan just in case our old plan didn't pan out. There was no excuse for not showing flexibility to adapt "in game" to try something new (trying JL, other lineman, anything). We were in the biggest game on the biggest stage, having the greatest season in school history. Why not shoot every bullet in your gun, go down swinging, pulling out every stop? They were better than us that day. Nothing we would have done would have made a difference. Those are things losers say when they give up and quit. People that say things like this don't know shite about competition or being a competitor. Then never addressing the events of one of the most embarrassing moments in our programs history by never talking about the game - Just acted like it never took place. No explanations. How can you be honest with yourself and defend any of that?

Cant agree with this enough. That was a chance for Les to be the top dog of the SEC. Win that one and he owns Saban and his team proceeds to have the most embarrassing performances in a championship game in recent memory. Besides the Broncos.

I've said this one other time in the past. Folks like Gray disgust me with their vitriol so I read and that's about it. My seat mate for the game was Coach Bowden. We discussed how unfair the whole rematch was. We discussed when he would have tried something new. I know that most on here know better than that washed up old coach but he really thought our coach was pretty pathethic that night. He tried to be diplomatic.

Dude he won with pure talent. Jamarcus or Hodson would have dominated with the talent JJ had. He was terribly lucky. Deal with it. Plus a lot games he got credited wins for JL saved his arse.

2013 Mettenburger with 2011 team would blow out everyone.

sure he had some physical talent but I wouldn't put him at the level of QB as Hodson or even Jarmarcus. Perhaps physically he was superior but Jamarcus had a stronger arm and Hodson was just an all around better QB. Just my opinion. Regardless the hate spewn towards him and love of Lee is just weird. Personally I have great respect for both of them. Both gave it their all for LSU and will go down in history as great tigers in a very historic season even with the terrible loss of 1/9/12

And by the way. I have had season tickets since 1976. During one period I went 4 years without missing a game anywhere. I went 28 years missing only 6 home games. I am a loyal tiger. Me nor any of my friends think much of coach miles and after that day we never will. But we are tigers so we keep quiet.

even with Brees at QB we wouldn't have won the 1/9 game. Team was just physically overpowered in the trenches by a physically superior team. But I get your point that the team would have done better the rest of the season (other than perhaps the 11/5 game) with Mett as he was a better QB than Lee or Jefferson

There is no other plan for OL getting it's shite pushed in, especially one featuring an immobile and skittish Lee.

You may be right that defense was stout and the line couldn't handle them but LSU didn't have a qb. Mettenburger would have made some plays. JJ just wasn't a good qb

On the other hand Jefferson had a history of leading LSU to comeback victories. Maybe Les was just playing the odds (which were bleak any way you slice it)

And the D was playing well enough for a comeback, bama only scored 1 TD

I think if we would have had 2013 Mett at QB along with 2013 Landry and OBJ and with 2013 Hill at RB and our 2015 o-line that we could have won that game

He wasn't that good nor was Lee but they were both under rated by many in our fan base. Don't get the hate many fans have towards them. They had limited abilities but gave it their all and our retarded fans can't take that away from them.

I don't think anyone would or is argueing that he wasn't a better QB than Lee or Jefferson

So inserting the Lee statue idea wasn't far fetched enough, you supplant him with a less seasoned one?
True desperation there.

bullshite. You're talking about 1 3rd down throw Lee made AFTER JJ had made a 75 yard td pass to take the lead against bama in 2010. The amount of shite JJ gets on this board is rediculous.

If you asked any lsu fan if they would take a qb that started just over 2 years worth of games and would finish in the top 6 in every major passing statistic in lsu history, EVERY SINGLE ONE WOULD SAY YES.

You can't suck your entire career and have the 8th best career qb rating in lsu history.
You can't suck your entire career and have the 6th best completion % in lsu history.

JJ gave more to lsu football on Wednesday in April than YOU ever will. Just like every lsu player that suits up.

What? Did you watch the 2012 title game? Notre dame was down 35-0 7 minutes into the 3rd quarter.
