We have just "wear your colors day" here. Alot of Red with me and one other guy in Purple. This thing about "You're from Lafayette, you should wear red"...is bullsh*t!

You feel supporting ULL is close to supporting obama over a republican candidate?

I live behind enemy lines in North Al. But I wear my colors every day so as not to get mixed up with any Bama dudes!

Tomorrow when I leave Lafayette, on the way to Dallas, you can bet your arse I'll be wearing purple and gold and my truck will have LSU flags.

Finally...

Well the Erin Andrews commercial for the ESPN sponsored day has been running for a good month or so. But as usual, the world revolves around Lafayette and they do things differently, even though the rest of the world does it the right way.

But if it's wear red day, I'd go so far as to go get a red t shirt screen printed with LSU on it...

If your boss gets his panties in a wad about that, I feel sorry for you. My boss worries about profit margins and showing up to work on time, not what colors I'm wearing at work.

I'm the opposite of most UL fans. If the Cajuns aren't playing the Tigers I cheer for them.

The majority of people in the Acadiana parish area support both teams; it's the not so silent minority that make it seem otherwise.

I work at a large law firm in Lafayette, and anyone wearing ULL gear on Friday would be laughed out of the building. Hell, they would be laughed at wearing ULL gear on any day. Our firm is die hard LSU through and through. Most of the attorneys are wearing LSU gear on Friday.

We proudly wear our purple and gold in a sea of red...and whatever other color ULL wears.

The real reason to wear red shirts on Friday!

Guess they arent creative enough to come up with their own ideas.......

If the day is the first Friday before the start of the college football season, then I would wear purple.

Seems pretty crappy to have "Wear Red Day" on the first friday of football season.

Every night at ULL home games is aluminum seat night and it's not hard to walk up, buy a ticket and sit on the 45 yd line....AND you want me to wear red to support this program?????? Gimme my purple and gold, which I proudly wear every Friday during football season.

Your the reason a ton of ULL fans pull against LSU fans because of your Nose in the air approach.

Ugm. Employment over rooting interest.

Wear purple any day of the week; on Saturday, I'd just wear red and smile. Who cares. I wish ULL all the best and don't know anything about them. If I lived in Lafeyette I'd wish them well because it would make the people around me happy.
