The LSU Tigers have added the Idaho Vandals to their 2020 football schedule, FBSchedules.com has learned.

LSU will host Idaho at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge on Nov. 21, 2020. The Vandals will receive a $1.4 million guarantee for the game, according to a copy of the contract obtained via an open records request.

LSU and Idaho have met twice on the gridiron and both contests were played in Baton Rouge. The Tigers defeated the Vandals 53-20 in 1998 and 63-14 in 2012.

Idaho is the second scheduled non-conference opponent for LSU for the 2020 season. The Tigers are also scheduled to host the Texas Longhorns on Sept. 12.

The Vandals, currently a member of the Sun Belt Conference, now have three non-conference games set for 2020. Idaho is also slated to host San Jose State and travel to Temple, both on dates to be announced.

LSU-Georgia Southern Date Set

LSU was previously slated to host Georgia Southern on Sept. 13, 2014, but the game was later pushed back to Sept. 2, 2017. After LSU scheduled BYU for the 2017 season, the game was pushed back for a second time and has now landed on Aug. 31, 2019.

What do you want LSU to schedule?
They are already hosting Power 5 Texas
Do you want them to schedule four power 5 along with conference schedule, you would be out of playoff contention in September.

You can't argue with LSU non conf power 5 going forward - home and home with UCLA, home and home with Arizona st, home and home with Texas, neutral site with Wisconsin, Miami. Neutral site with BYU and home game with Cuse. What more do you want?

Bama just scheduled Mercer, that's impressive.
