$1.4 million? that's the going rate for a rent-a-win nowadays?

Jeez, time to start scheduling Southern.

The Tigers are also scheduled to host the Texas Longhorns on Sept. 12.

If we can somehow meet and beat Baylor in a bowl and win these matchups with Texas, Les could potentially hold victories over every P5 school from Texas, assuming he sticks it out that long.

He would be 66...and turn 67 during the season...I don't think he will. With what he has made in his career and with all his kids in college...I would pack up my wife and tour the world.

Good point ! Also, given our A.D.'s past inclination, the odds are very good that MORE than one of these great home/home series will be "morphed" into neutral site/money grab games !

I wouldn't want to face HC Aranda at LSU either

I'm all in, but let's give the guy a year or two and see what he looks like then.

Even at that point, I would be hard pressed to see LSU hire a guy with zero head coaching experience in this era. Just doesn't fit the model of what they look for. This is why Frank bolted, so he can come back as the HC in three or four years after moving to a mid major in a year or two.
