Not too many coaches. We'd promote everyone else from within. It's a 1 for 1. - Stud, + Trooper

so your only line coach is a grad assistant working for free books and $200? Got it. Championship.

"“Meyer also aims to add Chris Spielman, Kirk Herbstreit, current North Carolina State linebackers coach Jon Tenuta and current LSU offensive line coach Greg Studwara to his Ohio State staff.”

Herbstreit??? This is a joke, right?

Losing Stud as the OL coach is a much bigger deal than Stud the OC.We don't really know how good an OC he is though I have been pleased with his job for the most part this season. While I would hate to lose him as the OL coach I'm not sure it's a big deal.Wilkerson would do fine and if we went outside the program then I trust Miles to make a good choice. He's got a pretty good track record hiring outside coaches. We were likely looking for a new offensive coach after the season anyway with Krags possibly moving to a non coaching position in the program. Not convinced BG gets the OC job.

Man I have truly experienced the Rant in all its ______. (insert billy madison speech with principle here).

This might make you feel good but BG really? Wilkerson everyone likes but we need recruiters on this staff and proven coaches here at LSU. This isn't the school to begin your coaching career.

Like herbie will leave ESPN to be an asst coach, especially with an unstable head coach!

I read a profile of Herbie in OKTC last week and hes says himself he's talked to Meyer about becoming his QB coach if/when he gets back into coaching.

Yeah....hire Trooper....cause we're hurting so much in our recruiting and he seems to be a perfect fit with Miles and his personality.

If only Sandusky was on OC.

i just wonder what the monken/miles relationship now. maybe he felt he was passed over when Crowton got it. And if he'd want a strong voice like Krags in there along with Miles demanding he run it up the middle 90% of the time. I wonder what Gundy's control of that offense is.

This is also why I think it wouldn't matter if we get a new OC, until Miles lets go of the reins on the playcalling we are gonna see the same thing run run run.

Probably any new oc would just be a yes man n e ways.

If we win this year I would hope Miles finally lets go control of the offense. We have wasted a lot of Wr talent over the years
