Maybe if the rest of the stadium would actually get into the game and make a little noise they could drown out the vulgarity from the student section

I think this is probably part of the problem. Hostile doesn't equal vulgarity. While the students might think it is cool or funny, it reflects poorly on them, the school, and really the entire state.
1. It's really just stupid
2. Nick Saban hasn't been the coach at LSU for 10 years. It's time to move on. Especially for a group of people who were 8-11 years old when he was last here.
3. It was done while a LSU player was lying on the ground injured.
4. It's pathetic. The only people that think it is cute are the students and trash. Which is very interesting for a board that seems concerned about what is or isn't "trashy"

It didn't come across that loud on CBS, at least to me. I didn't think it was any louder than the Ole Miss game.

Can we stop with this please? I hear this so often from fans of various SEC football teams. If you were so concerned about class, go watch the premier leagues and be a Chelsea fan. You picked the bottom of the barrel when it comes to class in the sporting world, so I don't know why everyone is so offended when it's not the atmosphere of an esteemed horse race. I can't bare LSU fans, Alabama fans, Ole Miss fans, A&M fans, etc. with this constant discussion of class.

Do you think they'll stop going to games? Do you have any idea how many tickets there are for sale outside of every game? I picked up a pair of tickets in section 103 this Saturday for $70 per a half hour before kickoff.
