Harris showed enough not to lose his job, but didn't blow anyone away on a full assessment, but showed some great flashes

I would take that honestly. That is better than anything we had last season.

got a few stats and tidbits from a reliable source on the scrim:

fournette had 12-13 carries for close to 70 yards and a TD.

guice had 2 Tds and well over 80 yards on 11 carries

Didn't get much info on Williams or brosette. Heard ducre break off a long run from FB.

Harris threw 2 TD's (to dupre and diarse). Not yardage was given but made some nice throws.

Jennings had a rushing TD and threw a pick six to Gage.

f we lose Beckwith our defense could fall apart basically. 2nd team LBs got abused

The great and all powerful Chavis everybody.

The freshman LBs we get next year might be nearly the entire two deep.

Sounds about right.

Just hope les gives Harris a little wiggle room before yanking him if things get a little rocky.

Dural did not dress out last night. Was on sideline in shorts and tee. Does anyone know if he's nursing an injury?

Fwiw, Quinn ran w/ the 1's first snap.

Heard quinn was hurt on the first series and didnt return? You were right it was 1 vs 1. 2 vs 2.

Guy on 247 said he got hurt first series and didn't come back, but Jimmy Smith at Nola said he played "in the slot majority of the day". Any idea if he did get hurt?

Quinn definitely more than one series. I wanna say he ran w/ 1's and 2's.

That's Jennings going against the 1's with the second string. Harris didn't wear leggings. The scrimmage was 1's vs 2's. Diarse is also 2nd string

You're right that is AJ. My bad...but I'm pretty sure def 1's went against both in the very beginning. The BH to Chi TD pass was covered by KT. Was he with the 2's?

Well let's see:

Coach O was vocal and loud the whole time. Love his presence on the sideline.

I thought the running plays far outnumbered passing plays. I guess I was hoping to see more QB work. But both Qb's did what they were asked to do. Mistake free I thought.

Guice returning KO will be a special thing to watch. He would've taken one to the house had they not stopped play at the 30.

So you're saying the pick six someone else posted about didn't happen?

The swing pass to guice for the td was from jennings. Tyron Johnson was a receiver on that play. It was against the 2nd team D. Donte, Lewis and battle all missed the tackle on guice. So the 2nd team D did go against the 2nd team o. Safe to say it was mixed.

I did not stay the whole time. Had somewhere else to be. But while I was there I did not see a pick 6.
