Harris showed enough not to lose his job, but didn't blow anyone away on a full assessment, but showed some great flashes

4 touchdowns didn't blow anyone away? Did these same people watch LSU the last 7 years sans Mett?

Les doesn't hesitate givng stats of Justin McMillin, probable 3rd team QB - 2-of 3 50 yards one TD

#LSU coach Les Miles: Harris has the advantage in snaps by half a dozen or so. Statistically we were 20 for 34 with 5 drops

The offensive line can be the greatest of all time but if there is no real threat of a passing game, running game will only take it so far. 5 or 6 guys on the line won't stack up against 8 or 9 in the box.

This is correct.

Anybody know if this was a situational scrimmage, or was it more like a regular game?

76 snaps..
47% passes, 53% runs..

I'm going to guess this was a situational scrimmage. We probably won't be throwing the ball 47% of the time

You thinking maybe a 60/40 ratio?

We will be more balanced. Would love to replicate the 2013 season's offense

i'm thinking that with a powerful offensive line and a stable of RBs.. we aren't going to be throwing short passes often
