State fans are delusional

Was just on elitedawgs and the first thread was about how State was going to beat LSU. Some fans were realistic, but the rest not so much. Here's a gem.

I think we may lose this game. State is better. A lot better. And we're young at spots. I think we're a better team by end of season but idk if we are right now.

I think State beats LSU next week. Thought it before the season and still think it now.
Doesn't mean it will be the end of the world. But this board will certainly treat it that way.

STATE gave up around 240 rushing to La Tech. Only looks good on paper because of the circus 87 yard fumble.

State shouldn't take too much from their Tech win. Tech actually put together some good drives against them, running the ball well. Tech just found a way to screw up repeatedly with red-zone fumbles, blocked punt, or other goofs. State would have won anyway, but the teams were more competitive than the score indicates.
Also, NW State stayed with Tech until late in the game. That same NW State just lost to Grambling. So State beating Tech was not a big indication of a strong team.
