This board is going to be really fun to read when the game is a hell of a lot closer than some of you think it will be. Shite the board was in melt down mode on the first drive of the game last night and that was Chattanooga! I can only imagine what it will be like Saturday night .

You should not sleep on state. That defense is legit. Our defense is better. We will see just how good Matt Canada is this week.
Now the comment about their "stable of running backs" is a little comical. That LSU defense isn't exactly JV.
Bottom line is we are a better football team and we should win if we execute properly. But if this team sleepwalks through a quarter and gives State an opportunity they will take advantage of it. This is probably the best state team since Dak.

A very very losable game but I just can't bring myself to ever predict a loss to State. Beating State has been my birthright.

I won't go this far but I definitely think it is a toss up. I have been saying all off season people are over looking State. I think outside of the Bama game this will be out toughest game based upon it falling so early on the schedule.

State will be better than byu on both sides of the ball this year Lsu should win and it will be good for our young guys.

We've faced better offensive lines the last 2 weeks. Key and Thompson will have great games. Fitz is an erratic passer. I think the game will be close at halftime but LSU will put it away in the 3rd qtr. LSU has better talent at every position on the field except QB and that's more based on Fitz running ability.
This is not the 2014 State team led by Dak and we have a much improved offense over our 2014 team.

Losing to state would be a very bad thing for us. I think it could happen but O really can't afford that loss
